The only acceptable reason for this is Lowry is wrapped up. Teague or Hill? No.

I was also hoping that either Hood was coming back or Aldrich was going out to maximize cap space.

Love Ricky and sad to see him go. That kid played really hard for this team through some of our absolute worst years. Hope he has success elsewhere.

The thing I'm excited about here is the fact that we did not sell him for peanuts. While we might not get a great pick, at least it wasn't the corpse of Derrick Rose.

If the Wolves wait out the market (very few teams looking for PG) and get him for Rubio's $ or even less

If there is a $18 mil/yr deal at 1201 AM for Teague its a disaster

Rubio is awesome and beautiful but, there's a bit of chatter of Lowry to minny.

No proper reports but this is one of the few teams I think signing Lowry would be a good idea. I think the fit would be great and the effort level of a butler Lowry duo would be amazing.

The thing with Jeff Teague is that he'll cost more with providing less or the same impact as Ricky.

You gotta go for Lowry at this point, Teague is a lateral move

Like what everyone else has said so far - if it's Lowry, I'm fine with it - if it's any other point guard then meh, I actually think we downgraded.

By making this move, I would hope we have enough money to sign a great PG and JJ Redick but I doubt we can get both.

What about trading the OKC 1st to Hawks for Wolves 1st back? I think that has value to them, 1 extra year of 1-14 before 2nds.

And for Wolves, now can trade own 2018 with whatever protections they want on it. AND easier to trade the next available 1st.

Could be a a good plan if Thibs wants to mortgage future even more!
