How does everyone here feel about getting Millsap since we're going to be meeting with both him and Blake. I'm kind of undecided it really depends on the contract. Obviously, this would be in the scenario where Blake has already signed with a team.

Funny thing is that's better than most of our team..of guys who played significant minutes, the only ones with higher PERs are Bledsoe, Warren and Chandler.

Williams also had 2nd highest behind Bledsoe but he played less than half the minutes of most of the guys.

The Millsap talk lost a lot of steam once the Blake rumor surfaced though lol but with Blake being who he is, our chances of landing someone like Millsap over him would be more probable. We got shined on once with JJ in the draft hopefully again with Blake

I'd make it super easy and just give them Knight/Chandler and Miami 1st, plus an additional 1st with heavy protection on it. They probably won't bite, but it sheds 4mil for us to sign Blake.

One thing that could help the Suns or any outside team chasing Blake is the contract that makes the most sense for him would be a 3+1 with a player option for the 4th year. That would allow him to opt out after that 3rd season at which time he would have 10 years of NBA service and be eligible for the larger max extension. That definitely takes some of the advantage the Clips have giving that 5th year. Now the clips can offer a no trade clause (but I bet they don't want to) and that could really help close that deal for them.

That is correct. But with us receiving two players in return, it can be made into 2 separate trades. So pretty much it would be:

Warren/Barbosa/Knight/Miami 1st for Jordan

and then.....

S&T Len for Crawford

Well I doubt they'd trade him to us, but if they do, they certainly won't do it before Blake makes a decision, as he is probably the biggest selling point for Blake to re-sign with the Clippers.
