Re: TRADE: Rubio to Utah for '18 OKC 1st
A couple of things about Teague that I think people are missing:
1) He has only played 16,000 minutes in the NBA so far. As a point of reference, Chris Paul has played 54,000 minutes.
2) He has been very healthy throughout his career (literally knocking on wood as I write this). He's played about 75 games per year in his career. Kyle Lowry has played 65 games per year in his career.

Still hoping (clutching at straws) that Teague deal is just in case Lowry returns to Toronto.

I am 100% on board and can't wait for next years playoffs to start. I'm sure some Ricky fans will jump ship eventually when the Wolves are battling for home court and the Jazz are winning 30 games

Rose is cheaper (thibs homie), sign him and use the rest of the cap space to build a bench and add 3 point shooting.

If they have a signed deal with Jeff Teague I hope they hide it better than they did the Joe Smith deal or we are losing another 5 first round picks. Does anybody know if it is OK to agree to terms before Midnight?

Sid had his tape recorder sitting in Thibs office monitoring things, it took awhile for him to sneak back in and retrieve it and then listen to the tape in full. He's been walking around asking if anyone knows what a rim job is.

C'mon over to the Jazz bandwagon! Honestly though, looks to me like this is an exciting moment in Wolves history. You will upgrade your PG with either Teague or Lowery, and with Butler, KAT, Wiggins - wow. That looks a dynasty in the making to me. I don't get why you basically gave Rubio away to us but thank you very much! Nonetheless, Wolves be howling come October.

Will miss you Ricky and wish you the best! With that being said bring in anyone not named Derrick Martell Rose and I can get jiggy wit it.

Yep, time to get on board. But it does sting a bit giving up that much value in Rubio. I have to believe he could have fetched more, but Jazz must had the immediate cap space to give. Certainly makes you 2nd guess if Rubio should have been traded much earlier than today. Perhaps actually gotten closer to value...

We gave you Rubio for nothing because we needed the cap space for Teague.
Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
