Beverly for the 1st, cap space for Hayward.

Obviously.

I'd rather start Payne at pg.

There's only a handful of guys that I can't stand more than Teague, one of my favorite Wolves being replaced with one of my least favorite players to watch. **** :banghead: . I guess it'll be all worth it once we make the playoffs.

Why don't you like Teague. Are there issues off the court or on the court that I may not know about?

People are that upset about this move? Outside of price, I think Teague fits in nicely

I'll always love Rubio's game. I remember just being stunned at his passing highlights before we drafted him, and I was happy to see a lot of that magic with his time spent with the Wolves. I'm going to miss him, and I'm not happy with the move regardless of who replaces him. I realize Thibs wants a shooting PG, and it is what it is unfortunately.

We didnt go from Rubio to Teague to open cap space...why are people thinking this way? We wanted a guy that fit much better with our roster and what our coach wanted to do. Rubio didnt jive well with what Thibs wanted to do or what we plan to do with Butler, Wiggins, etc. Teague can play off the ball. He's a much better fit.

I feel like he's a dirty player & it's hard for me to root for guys like that, but I guess i'd have to if we sign him.

He's had his share of dirty plays with the likes of LeBron, Belly, Wall & Rose, but as long as he can space the floor for the other guys, it's whatever I guess. I just want to make the damn playoffs

Basically we wanted a guy who was a prick, and not that much of an upgrade (if he really is) over Ricky. Well, we're gonna get him!

The PG market is non-existent

wait him or other PGs out!

I get that...I think people were hoping we would go after a big FA this offseason. I'm just stating there isn't money left to sign big FA if we pay Teague $18 million a year. We traded Rubio to get cap space so we could sign Teague. I think many people on here think Rubio is just as good as Teague for this team. We are paying about $4 million more for Teague that we could have spend on other free agents if we had just kept Rubio.

That's fine and dandy until you overplay your hand and are stuck with Derrick Rose.

Understandable. Didn't realize he was chippy like that. I guess I will have to watch him and make my opinion. Like you said, I just want to get to the playoffs.

Thibs you better have something better up your sleeve than Teague. Rubio is better and cheaper. Lowry I get, Teague for more money makes no sense.
