So there goes Bostons plan... time to reach out to Griffin who probably won't leave the 5th year off the table with Clips given his injuries... this is the day where all of Ainge's grand plans fall through?

The West is going to be fun next year. The East? Not so much.

Well joe ingles is headed east so that balances out. I really can't get over that contract.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we were a top 2 seed next year. East looks like utter dog sh*t outside of Cleveland, only Boston w/ Hayward would look better.

Ainge sitting on his hands while Morey and Presti get superstars for chump change.

No way we're top 2.. I think we're a long way behind Cleveland and Boston. Washington and Miami (based on second half of last year) will probably out perform us easily too.
Toronto is a dark horse given we don't know if they hold onto Lowry and Ibaka. I think we're the 5th or 6th seed.

Eh we still have a bad coach, no true second star and no one in charge to change that.

We won 42 games with that bad coach and no true second star, and playing trash basketball for a month+. Don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that with internal development we could hit ~50+, which is around what it would take

So do both Westbrook and PG leave OKC for LA next year? That'd be incredibly sad for the Thunder fan base.

Abolish conferences already. There are like 5 playoff-worthy teams in the east now. Maybe 10, 11 in the west

Would've made sense for Ainge to sit on his hands had he not given Horford that contract. Butler and George both were dealt below value, no clue what Ainge is doing

Too much for Ingles, IMO.

I thought these types of signing weren't a Hammond thing?

Miles Plumlee disagrees.

Russ/PG/Adams is really solid. They are probably one more scorer away from being right up there. Huge trade. Unlucky Boston.
