Dion liked it. Let's take a trip back to waiters island.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

It's pretty funny that the only picture he had he could use was one where he wasn't even looking at the camera. (Surprising he had it all but in this day and age of buddy buddy superstars probably shouldn't be).

Re: Welcome to OKC Paul George
Somebody tell me if Paul George himself has actually ever talked about going to the Lakers (no matter what). I don't get where people are getting his from. Afaik, we're talking about backchatter.

Re: Welcome to OKC Paul George
To me, a "rental" is trading for a guy at the deadline for a few weeks. Yes Paul George is only here for a year but I think the term rental is a bit of an undersell.

Laker fans year after year talk about star players going to LA. That ship will never end; LA has the market but we have learned in years past it's not always the market. NYC teams learned that the hard way in 2010. OKC getting George at 27, even for this year, is definitely worth the gamble. He is an all star and when you pair a top 6 player with a top 10 player, you give yourself a chance. This opens doors now for other players to look at OKC and say they are in it to contend. I said it last night and will say it again, I think Presti is FAR from finished in the offseason. This may be a prelude to a bigger move to come later on.

We'll see. He supposedly had Horford lined up to replace Serge, but we went for a better PF too late in the season. You never know with him.
Best case scenario would probably be something like this:
Russ-Robes-George-Millsap-Adams
Decend backup PG-Abrines-x-x-Dakari Johnson
Doubt it'll happen, but if we could get Kanter without giving up anything of real value, Presti should pull the trigger. Go all in. Russ deserves it.

Millsap is a solid player but Presti likes young assets long term. Hayward sign and trade is possible if we can clear some room. I am not going to doubt Presti after making this move. A Hayward-George pairing with Russ propels to top 2 in the conference.

Hayward? That I don't see (at all). Who's gonna play SG?! And George isn't know to wanting to play the 4.

Small ball has been prevalent the past few years in the league. We can make a compromise as long as good shooters are out on the floor.

Re: Welcome to OKC Paul George
Welcome aboard PG I sincerely hope you fall in love with OKC and stay, (in terms of the "rental" label however I have to say I am really not worried because even if PG leaves it will open a ton of space on the salary cap, I see this as a low risk move).
Kanter for Gay
MLE = MCW
We just now need a way to land Love.

Re: Welcome to OKC Paul George
Last night I was thinking with a GM like Presti we will never see the kind of flashy transfers, he looks too stoic to do these kind of things but, here, he turned two gifted but mentally unstable guys into a star. COngrats, and lets hope for even better news to come later.
It seems now that we will be going with a different motto every year. This year it was the year of the MVP, next season it will be tale of two stars.

You can have Love immediately, straight up for George. OKC gets a superb fit and more security, while Cleveland takes the free agency risk because George puts them on even ground with the Warriors.
