Millsap is 4/150 for MAX. Goodness. I cannot imagine anyone going that far to sign him.

If it's Knight/Chandler/Miami First for Millsap i'm ok as long as we are looking at a 3 year deal $90mil or a 4 year deal at $100mil.

3/90 starts at $29mil
4/100 starts at $23.5mil

Knight/Chandler make about as much as Millsap would for 2 years.

We COULD resign Len or Sauce. My preference is Sauce for 3/30 and 2nd is Len for 4/60 (i have little doubt that either will get that in FA)

Chriss/Sauce
Millsap/Bender
Warren/Jackson
Booker/Barbosa
Bledsoe/Ulis

If Hayward, Hill and Ingles leave the Jazz, they probably become a lottery team.

We need to be ready to make a monster offer for Gobert in 2018 then. Gobert/Booker is a great foundation, and should be able to attract another major FA too.

Till 2020 I thought. If the Jazz start sucking in the lottery, there's a conceivable chance that he might be traded for assets.

My main rebuilding goal is to grab a dominant big man to pair with Booker.

The main targets should be Gobert, Davis, Porzingis, and maybe Myles Turner. If any of these become available in trade, the Suns need to be in a position to go after them.

I rather trade for Love, atleast he is a double double machine 28 years old and on a 18 million a year contract.... Milsap will be on a 35 million a year contract at 32 years old.

Gobert is an excellent defender... but he doesnt suit a fast tempo team, he suits the half court set teams that slows the game down both sides so defense gets established.... you need a big man who likes to run... prime David Robinson would be so good in the fast tempo system... fastest and quickest 7 footer I've seen. Marcus Camby was pretty agile so he would also suit.

I just got home.. Sweet Mary Joseph we actually missed out on BG. I hope we can make it 2/2 and also pass on PM.

Find something for Knight + pick/player - ship him out. Summer league time!

Damn, the West is stacked next year. Clippers will regress with losing CP3, but still have Blake. Only other team that looks to regress is maybe Utah if Hayward leaves, but if he stays...

Not sure how much more tanking I can take as a fan, but it doesn't look like we have much of a choice.

Just please don't panic offer a 4 year max to Millsap.

I really hope we just save our money. Blake was a nice fantasy, but it's time to get serious. Knight has 3 years left, Chandler has 2, neither are awful considering when we need money for our young guys. I'd rather not swap them for 5 years Max Millsap.

I'm with ChrisInAZ on that bad feeling, TJ seems like a guy they'd want in return. Millsap took a slight dip this past season, and honestly TJ and Millsap's production isn't that far off (Millsap is +3.7 ppg, +2.5 rpg, +2.6 apg, +.1 spg, +.3 bpg, +1.4 TOpg in +4 mpg on less efficiency). Sure Millsap is touted as a very good defender, but I think defense falls off much sooner than offense. I'd just rather keep TJ.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

With the East so weak, there is going to be a lot of new undeserving all-stars out there, while making the West all-star team is going to be cutthroat.

The stars in the East are all headed West....and the stars from the West are relocating to other teams in the West.

Hopefully a season or two more of this and they just abolish the whole East/West conference thing.

I remember when Millsap along with Jefferson and Williams weren't considered good enough for Utah (3 years later they win 51 games without them) now we're max contract chasing him into his 30s.

Jrue Holiday just got $126m / 5.

Missed an average of 31 games since 2013.

There was a glimmer of hope...it lasted all of 1 day. its becoming clear joining a winning/play off bound team is a priority for the cream crop FAs.... unless it means the hugest of dough. We have nothing to offer that another team with the same cap space can't match. Why would Milsap even join this ragtag bunch, on his last hurrah? Not that it matters, as it really required two significant additions, IMO.

We are becoming Philly of the West, without the #1 pick luck....a treadmill of a different kind, rebuilding the rebuilt rebuild... chug chug chug..... there wont be any extras effort needed to bottom out. Vegas will lock us into 27 wins this year. We'lll praise our youngsters and 'get 'em next year'

And as it was mentioned back a few pages.... losing like this (and it is looking grim) runs the risk of your own homegrown talent seeking Ws elsewhere.

Yeah, hopefully the Heat don't sign Hayward so we can get a pick in 10-16 range next year.
