Almost all Golden State, they actually did better defensively against Houston then they did against Memphis. 111.4/108.4/122.2 in order.

I don't really get why this offensive/defensive peaks thing is brought up in a comparison in Hakeem vs Dirk. Dirk's defensive peak is irrelevant compared to Hakeem's.

And as for that projecting the peak over an entire prime thing...I mean, we've got people acting like offensive peak Dirk existed since 2001 instead of post-08. Pre-08 Dirk had real offensive weaknesses and they were taken advantage of from 05-07.

His defense wasn't anything more than above average whereas prime Hakeem's was elite, game-changing. It certainly wasn't much worse than his defense at his peak. It'd be like me pretending there's concerns about 2002 KG when he's already playing at like 85% of his peak.
