Tariq Black waived. Would be a really nice waiver claim at one year, 7 million if we didn't already have 348 centers.

I'm not sure I trust Brown to use Redick correctly. That and he doesn't have an elite facilitator hitting him off of screens.
I guess we'll find out how it works.

They need to get there first. Though it's becoming easier seemingly by the day here.

People really need to calm down with the "Philly better than us" ****. Good lord.
Let's wait to see if Embiid and Simmons can be healthy and whether or not Fultz is the real deal before anointing them as some sort of contender.

So, Redick getting $23M...does this mean Hambone won the Orlando trade? (green font?

Re: ATL - PG13 to Thunder
Philly will be better than us if (yeah, big if) Embiid can get to 60 games a season.
Either way their approach to cap management and FA is a lot better than ours

You mean a team with a guy who couldn't even make it half a season while on a minutes restriction along with 2 players that haven't played a single game yet isn't better then a PO team with a top ten player?

Korkmaz is coming over next year supposedly as well. His buyout is 2mil and Philly can pay like 700k of it and he can buy himself out of the rest and come over. That's supposed to happen so he's here for next season.

The fact that it's even a discussion when they have a bunch of rookies tells it all.
Their bench and young prospects make their cap space plentiful, they have multiple bench players that could be future legit starters on a contender along with a good coach.

Saric, Luwawu, Korkmaz, Bolden. All on the bench.

It's actually not a discussion though. It only seems that way because some people confuse potential with production. It's still a team that was just slotted to draft #3 after the ping pong balls fell.
For all anyone knows Simmons and Fultz turn out to be completely lack luster NBA players and Embiid continues to be even more injured then Oden was.
Considering neither Fultz nor Simmons were able to win a damn thing in college and it's becoming unbelievably apparent Embiid will most likely never play 60 games in a season the odds of them continuing to be a bottom 5 team are much greater then them making the leap to the POs.
Hell if your going to ear mark Fultz/Simmons being future stars and Embiid actually managing to stay healthy the Bucks have nothing to worry about cause you might as well ear mark Jabari for a full recovery and Thon as Ibaka 2.0. I mean why not? Your giving Phillies young pieces the benifit of the doubt. Unless of course good scenerios only play out for teams that have completely unrealized potential.
I mean jesus. Reddick will probably be their best player next season when Embiid inevitably gets injured

Man, i completely forgot about Korkmaz. The Sixers are sooooooo stacked with assets. Take off the Bucks tinted glasses. Giannis is obviously the best talent in the bunch BUT Sixers 7 days a week.

Yep. I absolutely love what Philly is doing/has done the last 2yrs. And you're definitely right; Giannis > Philly but Philly > MKE. All hail King Giannis is the best I got...
