This is the only legitimate thing to me about the prospects of Boston. Everything else about him being a fit for a city like Boston over Miami is presumptuous and ****.

The Stevens angle is way overrated IMO. Who cares really? I've worked with plenty of people in the past. It doesn't mean I yearn to join them again. Something new is much more interesting.

There's a chance it could be as you as say but I won't write it off since they probably have a good relationship. But to me they've really tried to portray Hayward as a kid going back to his roots and going to the perfect city and the perfect fit. But in reality they are just making a connection from him being a really good white guy and linking him to Boston. That BS about him not joining Miami because he's a "family man" really got on my damn nerves.

Why does he start? How about he earn it. I also despise him at the two unless his shot morphed into James Harden's during the offseason.

There's not a lot of minutes for him at SF/PF. And SG position is the best for him, imo
