I thought of Kanter/McDermott for Chandler . But Chandler seems like he is just like Adams. But it saves them 10m

If we renounce Len - we can take on all of Kanters contract with McDermott and I think they Thunder clear close to 20m of cap space. But is taking on Kanter and McDermott enough to take on Kanter. I guess if you move Chandler - but for what

Its hard to find deals you want to take on with the right asset attached

He's kinda becoming our new Nash. Dude has been here for awhile now and he is a good player. We haven't had a consistent face for this franchise in sometime. Booker is the future, however, Bledsoe can stake his claim too. I think he can grow with this core if he stays healthy; and for the most part he has been; our tanking put him on the shelf more than injuries.

Hell no. We stretched out not rebuildinld just to hold on to steve, we are trying to trade bledsoe so we can officially start it.

...when one of Eric's knees slips or slides, this way or that a bit (it's due), Knight might rehab some of his value.

Don't move him just to move him. It's not likely he'll ever help this Suns team, but I find it hard to believe his career is basically over. Keep probing for a deal, but it's not hurting anything to wait.

What?..Who would be the comparable once above average guard, mid-twenties, non-injury flameout? Is there one?

Well, there was a rookie of the year, MCW, who actually was involved in the Knight trade...get this...MIlwaukee traded Knight for this guy...his contract he just signed? 1 year, $2.7 million. Another ex rookie of the year, Tyreke Evans, kind of flamed out quickly. I think once the game became all about efficiency, ball movement and 3 pointers, iso players value just nose dived...there are few efficient iso players...DeRozan might be the best.

Kevin Martin went from solid above average guard to suddenly overpaid and a contract no one wanted as well. Those are just quick off the top of my head.

Bledsoe will be up for quite the bump when it's his turn.

If the Suns are really thinking long term - Bledsoe might bring back the most value.

If OKC gets Gay or Millsap - look out - top 3 team in the West

Damn i wish i would have screencapped the Wiretap for the past week.

It went from:

Celtics Could Pursue Kristaps Porzingis If Butler is traded Elsewhere.

to

Celtics Could Pursue Paul George If Porzingis is traded Elsewhere.

to

Celtics Could Pursue Blake Griffin If George is traded Elsewhere.

to

Celtics Could Pursue Gordon Hayward If George is traded Elsewhere.

to NOW

Celtics Could Pursue Danilo Gallinari If Hayward Signs Elsewhere.

ChrisInAZ wrote:I'm unclear on Kanter's value overall...his value with OKC, so I'm really asking for it, but could this help with OKC's "one year run" and a PHX uber young, clean rebuild? (still think Suns wants some vets around, but if not)...

Kanter/Huestis/Illyasova trade exception

for

Chandler/Dudley/Barbosa

http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yd6br8bj

I did a mock offseason where a very knowledgeable fan was GMing each team, and OKC mentioned they were looking for a specific type of player, and I thought Dudley was perfect, and described what he could do for them. I was just seeing what they would offer. They really wanted him but didn't have anything to really offer that I wanted.

I think they could have used Dudley, but now with Gay and George he isn't needed. They don't really need Chandler, and Kanter does provide offense and rebounding off the bench. BUT, overall, with those three guys, I think it would be something that was intriguing to OKC, that would provide them with some solid role playing vets and all good locker room guys...also might help in perhaps convincing George to stay if they were really good..

We're getting Blake!!! - No we're not
Ugh we're meeting with Millsap - no we're not
We're gonna stay young and maybe trade the old guys!

Yeah, I could have saved a lot of hours not reading the forums and checking twitter and not missed a damn thing. What a waste of thoughts and emotions to be back post draft at being happy with where the team was.

There isn't one thing I agree with from beginning to end of this sentence.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

Only a fan of Arizona teams!

I removed it a few minutes ago actually. Photobucket killed my account when the draft talk started, and it happened with lilfish and lukas too. I had to switch to a different one unless I wanted to pay.

I'm still happy! Not making any moves was the best thing for us. I know no one wants to endure another season of crap, but another top 5 pick and a maturing Booker and Chriss and we'll be on our way.
