1. Trade Andrew Nicholson to the Raptors for DeMarre Carroll, Bruno Cabloco (or Lucas Nogueira), & 2018 1st
2. Sign Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a 4 year, $88M deal

PG: Jeremy Lin / Isaiah Whitehead / Spencer Dinwiddie / Archie Goodwin
SG: D'Angelo Russell / Caris LeVert / Sean Kilpatrick
SF: Kentavious Caldwell Pope / Joe Harris / Bruno Caboclo
PF: Demarre Carroll / Rondae Hollis-Jefferson / Trevor Booker / Quincy Acy
C: Timofey Mozgov / Justin Hamilton / Jarrett Allen

I know a lot of people won't like LeVert and Hollis-Jefferson on the bench, but they will get just as much PT as the starters and offers us a lot of different looks

Going into 2018, Lin and Booker's contracts come off the books giving us $20M right there alone. Carroll also becomes a $14M expiring.

Thoughts?

I like this, the trade is good and they can take Justin Hamilton with them too. Even if we dont sign KCP I hope a similar deal can be done.

if we give them nichoslon and hamilton then they only shed 6 million in salary this year and 9 million next year.

i cant see a top GM like Ujiri giving up a first and a young prospect to shave 6/9 million

Any interest in Wislon Chandler from Denver? I saw on Twitter that the Clippers are trying to get Galanari and looking for a 3rd team. Would the Nets have any interest in being the 3rd team? Chandler's best days are long gone but his contract isn't outrageously costly, would anyone kick the tires on him if Porter and KCP are matched?

He's on my wishlist! I would take him if Porter and KCP can't get a deal in Brooklyn.

I don't think they value Bruno anymore

He hasn't done anything his whole career and is already 22

The only reason why I included him is because why not; would be a good camp body or someone for Kenny to see if he can get something out of

Toronto is dying to get their numbers down, so we'll see what they end up doing

i dont see the fit. he is 30, struggles to stay healthy, doesnt fit our timeline.

2/24 million isnt bad. if the second year was a team option instead of a player option i might do it at the en of free agency if we had no other options but really i dont like the short or long term fit

"already 22"? he would be the second youngest player on our team. he was super raw coming in and improved a ton. he was fantastic in the Dleague.

masai is too good a GM to get fleeced like that. he isnt going to givg up multiple assets to barely save money

I'm not high on Shabazz Muhammad. Not a good shooter. And even worse, he's a complete black hole. Can score 10+ points with ease and not give you a single assist. To me', he's not a good fit in Kenny's three point-heavy motion offense.

Only if it's a one year deal later in free agency.

I'm not high on Muhammad either. Assuming we can't get Porter and KCP is demanding too much our best deal is probably just to take on Carroll.

Good, let them pay him six figures a night to wear a suit on the sidelines for half the season.

I think Anderson could be very good fit for us but his contract is so bad and long. Otherwise, I wish we could do a Anderson for Hamilton and Nicholson type of deal.
