With Embiid seemingly never leaving the practice facility and Fultz' work ethic, Simmons' as well (was on IG live at the facility until 230 AM), it seems like the team is in good hands.

Im actually at a point right now that im skeptic if its still healthy to be training this much

24 hours in a day. If you spend 1 to 2 of them training life is good. The key is to work on the important stuff and improve just a little bit at a time. You create good habits now. They will last you an NBA life time.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

I wonder if there is some sports science thing where players are told their sleeping patterns should be like 3am bed time and 11am wake up.

Often with games on the road you can find yourself getting into cities at 2am the next morning. That would kill you if you had normal sleeping patterns. Maybe these guys being in the gym at 1 or 2am is the same as me going to the gym at 8pm

Let's hope he's making that pass to a legitimate, knock down shooter in the regular season.

It's impressive how several of the Sixers have improved over the last few years, good coaching. Imagine what they can do with Fultz, Simmons, and Embiid. If everyone stays healthy, the progress they'll make during the year could be legendary!

I agree 100 %. I am usually too scared to say it but I believe our beloved sixers will make playoffs pretty easy if they stay healthy.

fultz says he's not gonna add anymore bulk, and now he's gonna start getting cut. thank god, i think we'll see a faster, quicker version of fultz now than the one we saw in college

Was hoping he would pick #2 but Single digit and his team USA number. I dig.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

#7 isn't his set number yet he said.

Still trying to negotiate #20 from Luwawu?

That's pretty normal. All of these top picks end up getting 120% of their slot, even injured guys like Noel and Embiid. There's little to no risk of playing.

Okafor signed after a few games, MCW didn't sign until like August. Similar stuff with previous rookies. Was more weird how Simmons allegedly made a big deal of it.

It wasn't Simmons it was Rich Paul... Simmons wanted to play. The deal was signed anyway on Day 2 so it was never a big deal.

Rich Paul, the agent for Simmons, was in attendance, and while he expressed optimism that Simmons would play in the summer, he couldn't give a definitive answer.

"You would like for a guy to step in there, but obviously there are some things that me, personally, that I have to protect him with, and if all is good then we look forward to it," Paul said. "Until then we will see what happens."

So Simmons' status is to be determined.

"Obviously he will look for me to give him the OK and I think he will be OK, but you will never know," Paul said.

Like Paul, Sixers president of basketball operations Bryan Colangelo was optimistic that Simmons would play, but he too couldn't say with certainty.

The first step will be for Simmons to sign a contract. Colangelo said a first-round pick can't officially agree to a deal until July 1.

First minute shows how inconsistent Fultz' jumper is at times. Would be pleasantly surprised if he'll be close to an average shooter next year.

A very valid point about his last game played, I think it was 21st of February against Arizona, impressive that he stepped up like he did last night.

Sure at the end of the day that sort of stuff is the agent. Simmons picked his agent though.
