The price is a little bit high but the 3 years isn't bad especially with the 3rd year being a team option. I don't see this making Denver that much better. It's hard to understand their direction as a franchise. Are they trying to win or rebuild? This move seems like there trying to win now.

No wonder the Wolves dropped out of the running for him. He'd have been a great fit there but over double the price of what they got their current PF pickup for. Nuggets seem to be in on Hill yet as well so they are trying to improve as well. Hopefully that means Faried gets traded on the right roster he would be a monster on the boards.

Despite the price Denver might've gotten a steal

Considering inflation, a house in the 1990-2010 that cost $1-2million cost $5-10 million today. So still within reason

That's a bit of stretch, I'm sure adjusted for inflation, today's players are making more.

Milsaps deal is actually pretty team friendly. They paid his full value, but only for 2 years(if the team wants to deny the 3rd year). You usually have to give 4 years guaranteed to get a player like milsap

Of course they are trying to win, they finished one game back of the blazers for the 8th spot and they just signed millsap.

Just another of what little talent was left in the east is still going out west. It's king of mind boggling. Even the Jeff Teagues of the world are going west.

I guess Hayward is the only one left that can go east of any note.

Which is negated if Gallo leaves. But yeah, ideally every team is trying to win.

No, they should definitely be better, even if Gallo leaves

a steal? how much do you think the guy is worth? he's really good and dependable, but he's never been a franchise player and now he's past his prime

They do. 2-4 more losses can sometimes be the difference between the pos or not

If your team has a worse record than the eighth seed but is leading the division it's in, then your team will still make the playoffs and have home court advantage in the first round. Divisions still matter.

No, you don't have home court advantage any more. They changed it a season ago.
