Don't care what you say. Love is good but he's not Melo. Give me a break.

Melo in a situation with a alpha leader Brown/Paul is going to excel.

He's going to have the luxury of one of his best friends telling him there's a mouse in the house or there's a child in the street. As opposed to knick fans booing when he doesn't pass lol.

I think a 3rd team is a little harder to find or even a 4th team. Denver was interested in Love they now have Milsap so that idea is out the window.

I think CLE would trade Love for Melo if they can get an additional asset back (maybe a bench player) to better round out there roster. Maybe something along the lines of KOQ a good backup big.

Boston is always looking for some whitening for it's team, so Love could be flipped there? I'm sure Ainge would like to deal a bag of garbage and some 2nd rounders for Love

earlier it was probably CLE as the only team Melo would waive his NTC. So CLE didn't have to compete against anyone. Now that HOU is in the picture and both teams can't really improve outside of trading for Melo at this point. We can pin both teams against each other and try to pry as much value as possible.

So, Melo will waive his NTC to go buddy up with LeBron or Chris Paul. Will he also waive his trade kicker too? To me that is another form of the NTC, extra $ and not salary, so he should be willing to give up a large portion of it to go to a winner and make the deal easier and also save an asset for his new team.

That is, if Melo is more about winning than $$$.

Oh, better handle and better passer, Kuz is a more diverse scorer, Osman has improved a ton as a shooter but he is not a natural shooter and I am not sure how is going to traslate at least at 1st.

I would rather buy Melo out than take on Anderson or Love. If the Knicks do they'd better get at least two unprotected picks. Not sure Cleveland has any to deal, though. Didn't they give up two to get Mosgov?

He was a late first/early 2nd, I guess in part as he was a stash. IF he was coming into this past draft, and he could come over right away, where would he have been drafted? Meaning is his actual draft value a bit higher? Sort of like WHG probably being higher than 35th if he wasn't under contract for 2 years (minus the showing in the pros this year)

The goal of trading Melo, is to get out from under his salary, not to take on more salary, especially for picks in 2020 and 2022 which Morey will want to lottery protect... F outta here with that BS...

If Houston wants Melo, Morey needs to find a 3rd team willing to take Anderson's contract..
