JV for Kosta Koufos or Kyle O'Quinn could work. Since Kings/Knicks are sending some salary back it's not so bad for them.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

Sucks that he wasn't traded years ago when his value was higher also really sucks that we strongly considered
drafting Kawahi but Colangelo couldn't resist his Euro fetish. I guess it could have been worse he could have drafted
Jan Vessley.

San Antonio has been awfully quiet. Wouldn't be surprised if they ended with some combination of JV or Cojo, maybe both. They've had their eye on JV for a while. I believe they have the cap space to absorb salaries.

JV and Cory Joseph for Lamarcus Aldridge, 2nd rounder and fillers. JV would excel in Pops system, Cjo goes back to familiar territory and LA adds veteran presence to our team.

I see this a lot -- would he though? Pop prefers guys that can defend and pass, or at least do one of those things well. JV doesn't fit that mold.

If he turn Rasho and Splitter into serviceable guys, imagine what he can do to a guy like Jonas who is more talented, sky's the limit.

Different times. I can't believe you even bring up Rasho

Splitter was better defender and more Mobil then JV ... Rasho had much better bbiq and better playmaker then JV ..

Both of those guys where nothing more then role players and bench players..

And they did their job adequately, JV can do the same and maybe even better.

Phoenix has 10 million in capspace now since they just waived Barbosa.
I would make sure Phoenix is absorbing more salary in any deal otherwise its pointless.

During his time in SA Splitter's Ast% was nearly 3x Jonas', plus he was a solid defender. And Rasho played for the Spurs over 10 years ago - a much different era for bigs.

Would like Chandler here, but if JV is too slow for casey to figure out, what will he do with Chandler? Also no to Pascal as part of trade

I would offer JV & Cojo and our own 2nd next year, for Danny Green and Kyle Anderson, saves some tax money and gives us some D, 3pt shooting and and a possible b/u PG.
Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

The same Pop who had to bench Splitter in favour of Diaw in order to survive vs the Heat. Let's be real.

Have we looked at a JV and Jahil Okafor straight swap.

15.4 mill to ----> 4.9 mill which basically saves us 10 mill.

JV is way better than okafor which would give philly a real back up for embiid as injury insurance and a really solid bench big.

Philly basically gave up on okafor, so if they are looking to swallow salary to get to the cap floor or get better than this move makes sense for them.

Uhh you must of never watched okafor play .......defense (what defense)

Would be not be surprised if he never gets a contract again....having him on the floor easily gives team extra 10 points per quarter

If we are trading for Chandler we are not trading him for as starter or saviour... We are trading him to dump JV and Carroll contract, to help or Defense and help to mentor Poetle and Bebe ..
