Tabata - he's 18 and in High A ball. He's a RF with a good arm and a very good ability to hit for average. His power is developing, but nobody knows how much power he is going to hit for. I say 20 HR power, but that's just a guess.

Sanchez - a power arm with a very good fastball and a few very slider/splitter. He has decent command of his pitches. I think he'll ultimate land in the bullpen.

Ian Kennedy - a more finesse guy, in the Mike Mussina mold, without Moose's stuff in his prime. He sits 90-92 and he has a very nice changeup. He has other secondary pitches that he is working on improving. He really is a thinking man's pitcher, I think he'll be a goodo back of the rotation starter for us.

Chamberlain - our top prospect this year. He throws hard and he throws filth. He's got a incredible slider and a fastball that he can reach up to 97. He commands his pitches fairly well, but he needs a consistent third pitch. I think he'll be a starter, but he could also be a reliever. Health is an issue, he dropped in the draft due to his health. He's a notch below Hughes.

Tabata is an 18 year old right now in high-A Tampa, which is basically a league for 20-21 year olds. He is still managing to hit over .300 with an obp around .380, which is very impressive. There is no doubt that he can hit for average, steal bases, and play the outfield (RF). What makes Tabata a special prospect is his bat speed, which compares favorably to Gary Sheffield's bat speed. The feeling is that as he gets older and stronger, that bad speed will turn him from a gap hitter to a home run hitter. If it does, he will be a great #3 or #4 hitter. If it doesn't, he can still be a great leadoff or 2 hole hitter. Either way, the sky is the limit for him.

Sanchez is a question mark right now. He just underwent tommy john surgery but was pretty highly regarded before he went under the knife. He throws very hard and has a pretty good curve and a developing change. A lot of scouts think he is headed for the bullpen, which may make sense considering his arsenal, his injuries, and the depth of starting pitching in our system. We'll just have to wait and see.

Chamberlain is our top prospect right now (considering that Hughes is a major leaguer at this point). He sits 95-97 pretty comfortably but there have been a number of times where he has touched 99 or 100 in games. He combines that with a devastating slider that would be considered top notch even by major league standards. He needs to work on the control of his pitches, mainly his curve and change, if he wants to be an ace. But right now, he has all the potential to do so. He is an extremely bright and hard working young man, so things should work out fine for him.

Kennedy is a good prospect, but by no means an ace. He lost some velocity his junior year at USC which is why he fell to us in the first place, but he seems to have gotten that back. He throws about 92, but it varies sometimes. I'd say he is more in the 90-94 range depending on the day. He also flashes an excellent changeup, a good curve, and a slider that is still developing. He can be a fine major league pitcher if his curve and slider continue to develop, and so far, they have progressed beautifully this season.

Tabata is basically our best outfielder and we have a lot of good ones in our farm. He has th e same swing as Manny Ramirez and scouts draw comparisons to Manny for Tabata. He's only 18 and hittin hard line drives. As he gets bigger and stronger, those line drives are gonna turn to homers. I say he's gonna be a .300/30/100 guy when he's full developed.

Sanchez was gonna be a starter but he has a lot of problems in his elbow so he's more or less gonna end up in the bullpen as a setup or closer.
