He is a little wild! But that's fixable. Am seeing a lot of potential on him. Higher ceiling than Winslow's for sure.

I've caught some summer league and this guy has looked better than anyone I've seen thus far. You don't see a lot centers with that kind of motor, especially with those physical skills. Absolutely incredible what I've seen this guy do so far.

we are so blessed to have gotten Bam, its going to be so awesome to watch this 19 year old grow in to his NBA future.

his 29 today was a pretty "cheap" 29. Those calls likely don't happen against NBA starters....but the calls where the calls.....how about the big increase on his FT% over what he did in college!

13-17 from the line, that alone got my boner going.

His shot is smooth looking, he's already showing nice touch. FT% are the best indicator for shooting potential.

A guy his size, his age, shooting in the ~80% FT - that's potential.

A pure backup C they said. Get TJ Leaf they said.

I'd like to see him add a bit more muscle to his frame so he can finish better in traffic, but damn, Bam! He was fantastic. Even showed some hook shot. I actually saw Riley's Shawn Kemp comparison without even trying...

HE WILL. That's what scares the **** out of me. He's going to get stronger, more athletic. Riley said HE WASN'T FINISHED GROWING. Think about that for a moment, Freak. His Summer League highlights are SEX.

Wait for that hook shot to get better. Wait for that jump shot to get better. Wait for his post moves to get better.

“Physicality, it comes with competitive nature,” Adebayo said. “So if you’re not going to get in there and bang, I don’t consider you a competitor. I’ll do whatever the [Heat] ask. If they tell me to get in there and bang, I’m fine with that because I compete, and I’m never going to back down from anybody else. The 19 year-old thing, I’m growing into my body, you know I’ve still got two years left to grow. So I think I’m still growing, still getting bigger and still getting more athletic.

We could be talking Twin Towers if everything works out and Bam grows another inch or two in addition to his added size and agility.

If Bam can draw fouls like that in the league, he's going to be a force. Not convinced yet but I like what I see. Tristan Thompson extracted 7.3 FTA's a game in college with similar booty power, not to make him eponymous with any PF/C but imma wait. TT was a bit more of a shot blocker and post player, so maybe he's not as much of a C as TT is, idk.

Defensively I can see him more as a PF but offensively more likely a C, idk. I can't see Spo putting him on the floor as a 4 but if he can put the ball on the floor and draw ft's like this...

One thing I wanted to see more of is PnR reps, for some reason didn't do it much in Kentucky. Seems like a decent screener

The deeper I go, the scarier it gets. They're really similar, I didn't watch/scout TT much in college but I get a sense of why he went at 4

Tristan Thompson didn't have a Bam-like summer league for starters...

Thompson: 10.0 pts | 3.8 trb | 0.5 ast | 0.5 stl | 0.5 blk
Adebayo: 19.0 pts | 10.0 trb | 1.3 ast | 1.3 stl | 2.3 blk

free throw draw power goes to Bam handily:

Thompson: 2.8 fta (55% ft shooter)
Adebayo: 9.3 fta (75% ft shooter)

Bam is better defender, rebounder & offensive player in general. Bam can take the ball from coast to coast and euro the opposing team. His ability to draw fouls are on another level

The Beasley angle has been way overworked. Beasley was always a tremendous prospect with excellent potential. He's had some great performances at every level. He just doesn't have it all together upstairs. Its tough but you've got to be smarter than he was capable of being to succeed in the NBA.
