When do we make the ECF? This upcoming season of course.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

He's actually become overrated. Weak rebounder, not as good as a shooter as advertised.

Maybe he'll give him a scathing review when space jam 2 is filmed and stop lebron's movie career.

It's not a joke. Basketball Jones last year said that we have the best team in the league. 4 All Stars and a should-be 5th. He thinks way more highly of our guys than even the most optimistic on the board. Not hating, just saying that's where he stands. He just really likes our team.

I thought Philly would've been a good fit. He could play beside Embiid and Okafor, but Colangelo threw so much money to Amir. Missed opportunity I think.

PPatt was a solid bench player - to the point where he was relied upon heavily there - but had trouble with Cleveland for whatever reason. In 2015-16 he led the team in % of minutes versus bench units and I wouldn't be shocked that changed much this year.

The one thing I'll wonder was how effective the KL-DD-Carroll-PPatt-JV lineup would be if they started those guys for the season.

That lineup was the fourth best lineup in the NBA per net rating for any 5-man combo that had played at least 100 minutes together. Offensive rating: 129, Defensive rating: 102.2, Net rating: 26.8 - all in 147 minutes.

It's also the closest the team went 4-out and 1-in regularly, which worked here but it's hard to commit to fully because DD has limited range. KL-Powell-Carroll-PPatt-JV played 64 minutes together for example, and had a net rating of 23.2 lol. There was always something there with that play style but one that was pretty much ignored by Casey (maybe another year of the offense tanking in the playoffs is the wake up call the guy should've had years ago lol?).

Lastly, I don't know where else to put this, but Casey ruined the development of PPatt's ability to create for others because he made his role too rigid. We focus a lot on JV on this topic which is more than fair but PPatt had all the skills when he first got here to be a distributor - from his passing-to FG% for front court players since his Sacramento days, to his assist percentage from the elbow dwindling from a more impressive rate in his first year here to the eye test where he does a decent job dropping it off from a drive - and then the team went overboard with the ball handler possessions that it took away the strategic use of using younger players like PPatt to grow their game during the season.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Siakam has a higher ceiling. He can guard even better 1 on 1. Better rim protection. Better offensive rebounding and transition. I'm positive he can match Patterson's bricks, if not next year, then in a couple years. Can he be as good of a team defender is the question.

PPat isn't the same guy as he was a few years ago. Shooting and general play has gotten much worse. GIven his extensive party pics recently, I think he is just generally more of a party guy now than a winner.

I would give him 3/30 with a team option in year three if we can sign someone with the MLE first

lol not surprised. I have heard he's a regular around Toronto clubs, and usually has a gang of club skanks following him around.

Overvalued as far as I'm concerned.

Barely puts a statistical dent on the game, equal or marginally better than Bargnani in rebounding yet never receives any heat for it, barely blocks shots for a player with his length/athleticism. He plays good position defense, and has value in that he stretches the floor so he opens up the spacing, but he's very one dimensional at best and too loved by advanced stats advocates because they see him in a few of our top 5 lineups.

He hasn't improved at all since he got in the league, and his stats have gotten worse over the past few seasons. I liked him his first year he got here from Sacramento - seemed fired up and really had a strong impact..he has too many extra curricular things going on now similar to Terrence Ross..he has strong/long bouts of disappearing throughout the season.. he'll go on mini hot stretches for a few games which bring up his overall averages..

I'm really starting to wonder about our player development, outside of Powell we've had guys who seemed to really taper off despite being quite young when we got 'em.. DeMar is really the only one that hit his absolute ceiling, and he goes above and beyond to work hard.

It's like you took a random Doug paragraph, randomized the words and spelling, and posted it.

Either that, or Babelfish'd it through six different languages and back again.
