You know what would make restricted free agency more fun? If when a player gets an offer from a team, his last team can't see the offer, but they can submit an offer that they think matches it or beats it then they get to keep the player.

That would only lead the Bucks to continue to preemptively overpay for RFA's. Fear of the unknown.

Not only this **** but the Golden State Warriors make enough money from tickets, merch, TV, and advertising to go well into the luxury tax compared to other teams.

I love Durant. This guy has no ego. He's the best player on the team but he let Curry get paid while he makes approximately the same as JJ Redick or Jrue Holiday.

Not a big downgrade from Teague IMO.

Would've liked to see him on the Pels.

Or us instead of Rose if we end up with him

I wonder how many of these teams pay players extra money under the table so they don't technically go over the cap.

Still talented. It's more impressive to me than what Jaylen Brown did, where he was just physically overpowering SL competition. Exum is taking and making pull up jumpers, 3s, controlling the game well, etc.

Curry gravity is completely amazing and underestimated all the time.

He has led the league in NPI RAPM 3 straight years, including this year when he was >50% higher than KD.

Warriors had 5 top 14 RAPM players and Iggy was #27. Thats insane.

I'm down with this if the amounts would be revealed with the GMs standing behind "price is right" style podiums with giant light bulb borders.

I can easily see why he's doing this.

Durant has already made 135 million and with this extension, that's 190 million and he'll only be 31 when those two years are done. Plenty of years left to make another 150-200 million or more.

Besides that, Durant's newest shoe deal is for a reported 300 million, on top of the 60 million made in his first shoe deal.

Assuming reasonably good health, between money already earned in salaries/this extension and shoe money, that's 550 million locked in and he'll only be 31 when the extension ends. He has to have other endorsements also.

Shaving off some millions to help keep teammates he likes and helping the Warriors win more titles isn't going to prevent Durant from buying anything financially that his heart desires.

Oh man. Jamal Crawford is going to be a free agent.

I wonder when his meeting in Milwaukee is going to be.

Clippers are confusing me.

Lob City never won anything, but in terms of style and fun, us diehards and league pass junkies will be talking about them decades from now like Run TMC, the Kemp/Payton Sonics, and the J Williams Kings. RIP fun to watch Clippers.

Early on for sure but honestly they've been kinda boring in recent years, lob city hasn't been that live outside of DJ the last couple years. I actually think the Clippers might be more fun to watch now..Blake in a much bigger playmaking role with Gallo, DJ, Beverley, Lou Will, Harrell, Dekker, etc. They'll be mediocre but it'll be a really entertaining mediocre.

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
