Why are we trading JV for a PG, Even if he's a SG, we got 2 of those too.

I rather pay the tax over dumping JV .. I am not as big on JV like others but i feel he's too talented to be giving away for nil just to save some money.

Make a good trade or keep him.

If the asking price to dump a bad contract is a first round pick, would rather give up next year's pick with Carroll to Atlanta, Phoenix, Brooklyn or Indiana.

Dumping JV for nothing is

So what's a better asset a first round pick or jv?

TJ Warren is the only player on PHX that MIGHT (not likely) be available that I would even bother trading for. I only say that because it's an outside chance that since they just drafted drafted Josh Jackson that they may want the clear the way for him but I think Warren is a very low key steal of a player but the flipside is I have no idea why PHX would even want JV to begin with when they are jammed at the position with Chandler, Len.

Are you asking if I'd rather keep JV or the 20-something pick in next year's draft?

Dump him on BC. He loves his euros, and he even drafted this one.

horford, tt, gortat, maker, turner, lopez, whiteside, drummond, dwight, kp, embiid, vujevic.

so in terms of playoff matchups, i see ibaka holding his own against 1/2 of them. if we come up against lopez, whiteside, drummond,d dwight or embiid in the playoffs, he will get destroyed.

And thats in terms of offensive 1 on 1. We will lose all of those rebounding battles, offensively and defensively which will hurt the entire team.

I agree too,

Ibaka cant handle the super bigs, neither can Poeltl. Teams will have a field day in the paint. Then what will happen when Ibaka gets into foul trouble?

Well, there's still months prior to the season starting so if JV is moved, Masai can still go bargain bin shopping for a big C like he has late summer the previous few years. Splitter/Ezeli/Hibbert/Reed/Baynes/Anthony/Sanders/Gasol/Hill are all FAs this summer and looking for homes.

The rumors about Drummond trade at deadline l, the rumors at draft and the rumors right now about Raptors trying to trade

Inconsistent mins with Casey. It's time to cut loose with this guy for both parties

I suspect if Masai was willing to give him away for nothing, JV would already be gone.

Let's hope he can get decent value back, if not, I'd much prefer to keep him.

Mark my words, he will be back because we won't be able to trade him and this rgm cage match will go on forever. They have tried to find a suitable trade for 8 months now. I don't see what changed in 8 months.
