Already getting pissed thinking about seeing Henson's stupid fat face on the bench opening night.

John Henson is going to work really hard this offseason. With eyes on a championship, Henson is working extremely hard to bulk up and be as quick and as strong as he can be.

Pretty crazy right?

In light of this revelation, I'm am going to put everything on the line to be as good as I can be ... I mean, most of our fans don't even make what my friend does in a year. "

Curry gravity is completely amazing and underestimated all the time.

He has led the league in NPI RAPM 3 straight years, including this year when he was >50% higher than KD.

Warriors had 5 top 14 RAPM players and Iggy was #27. Thats insane.

Is it insane because you think that's accurate? Those five Warriors include Javale McGee being ranked #12 in the league. Giannis is the 5th rated Buck at #81 in the league (behind Terry). Kyle Korver is ranked #472 in the league (out of 486 players). A year ago, Korver finished #8 in the league. There are many examples of players fluctuating wildly like that from year to year which is one of the reasons I take these ratings with a grain of salt.

I love Durant. This guy has no ego. He's the best player on the team but he let Curry get paid while he makes approximately the same as JJ Redick or Jrue Holiday.

My cheeks can't stop blushing thinking about the wonder of a human being's ability to sacrifice. It only take a person making $53,000 per year 1000 years of working to make the value of Durant's contract. His sacrifice is breathtaking, I'm in tears thinking about the beauty in humanity.

You know what would make restricted free agency more fun? If when a player gets an offer from a team, his last team can't see the offer, but they can submit an offer that they think matches it or beats it then they get to keep the player.

The Bucks already operate this way, see Plumlee, but they took it one step further, they submitted their highest offer JUST IN CASE someone makes a bid for him.

The Targeted Team Restrictions part is kinda tough to figure out, and Diamond Stone changes the situation a bit in terms of salaries, but damn.


Because Gallinari's salary is likely between $11m and $24m, it limits who the Clips can get rid of to Crawford/Rivers.
The rule on Crawford +Stone's outgoing salary means that Gallinari's (incoming) contract has to be $5m more than theirs ($20,577,599).
Then, because Millsap's contract will be $28,571,429, the Nuggets need to get rid of contracts totalling 80% of that + $80k ($22,777,143).
That means that in addition to Gallinari leaving, the Nuggets have to get rid of one from Lyles/Harris/Murray/Mudiay/Barton/Nelson/Arthur.


If Millsap doesn't go in a sign-and-trade then the Nuggets don't have to do the last bit, but it would also mean that they lose the $13m of free cap space they'd get to use in between signing Gallinari and taking on Millsap.

Do I sense sarcasm? If you want to debate that athletes are overpaid, that's an entirely different discussion. How many athletes would willingly give up as much money as Durant has by leaving OKC and now taking this pay cut? Durant will earn $78 million over his first three seasons in Golden State while his former teammate, Westbrook, is on the verge of signing a five year deal worth $43 million per season. No, Durant will not struggle to feed his family but his humility and unselfishness exemplify why he should be a role model for children. As if we didn't already know this about him.

Yes, athletes are overpaid...no debate there. The point is that very few of them are willing to leave money on the table and an even bigger point is that they aren't willing to do it because of their ego. They can't accept making less than someone they are better than. To me that is what I like most about Durant, he's not worried about having to prove himself by being the highest paid.
