I doubt we offer more than the tax payers mid Level.

2-3, at best. you think westbrook is not going to have any noticeable decline until age 36?
Nope, especially since he's developing a three and will have more space to hit them with George on the team.

You think George re-signs here next Summer?

Is that actually what he's worth or are you basing it on what we can do with our current situation?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I have feelings on this

We can't start Adams, Roberson, and LRMAM. It barely worked with ibaka and a significantly better version of Paul George.
do you think taj gibson last year was significantly better than LRMAM on offensive impact?
'barely worked' with ibaka? those starting units were like +20pp100 lol.
For us? Absolutely. For Chicago? No clue. But he is definitely a better offensive player on his own than mbah a moute.
And by barely worked I was talking about the process, not the results. Ibaka gave us just enough spacing, and cupcake could score on anyone at will, so it worked. George isn't that caliber and we won't survive this conference without a third player to put pressure on defenses.
spearsy23 wrote:At this point I honestly think we could miss the playoffs if we don't hit on a significant free agent. A healthy gay as a third option would ensure playoffs, Patterson probably does too, anybody else I think you're hoping to take a chance and need two risks to pay off ie Evans being healthy and huestis surpassing expectations while someone like Anthony tolliver just keeps the position warm enough to not be a complete liability.

Ohhhh :] I wonder who else is looking at Gay. Have to think Miami would look into him if they miss out on Hayward. They have a better shot of signing him :[

The most you give up for Melo is Kanter and Singler. The Knicks get a young guy who can score around the rim and the Thunder get another scorer.

If NYK do a buyout and resign him for two years and we trade for him, we go for it. He can still flat out shoot and score. We would definitely contend with the Warriors with a core of Melo, George and Westbrook.
