If we don't get Hayward I believe we resign JJ and Dion and a 3rd FA. I don't think Dion gets paid as much as everyone was anticipating, the money isn't out there.

There have been multiple free agents and you were content with re-signing bench players, and most likely overpaying them. You're at your house just chillin aren't you?
you mad at pat for hayward going to play with his college coach?
No I am made at Pat for the past two season chases "Whales" when he could have been building teams. Trading players. Hell even go back to when Lebron left sure it was dick on Lebron but he could have handled that better. Be the better man.

The Heat aren't landing any Whales thru FA under the new CBA and just can't help to think, with this coaching staff, what they can do with a player like Josh Jax or DSJ talent, similar with what they did for DWade when he got here.

What I'm most afraid of is missing Hayward and then - in desperation - giving a big deal to Rudy Gay or someone like that. We need to sign our guys and develop our young players.
Though I share the concerns on the Rudy Gay signing and sense of desperation, Miami needs a FRANCHISE player over all else.
Stop with the hedging and give this coaching staff, that have done a good job with reclamation projects, with talent.
Build for something versus achieving ATL 2.0 treadmill status.

What can be more aggressive than going for the whale?
Re-signing players that won't win you a championship or attract other star players and then not having money for a whale who would've come after a meeting?
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

not all that excited about Hayward anyway. didn't even know what they guy looked like til a few weeks ago. I just hope we retain some flexibility for next off season either way.

None but he does like Miami in general he has no reason to troll Miami Fans. But it seems he is trolling unless they have the same agent.

If Rudy Gay is our FRANCHISE player, we are DOA.

Not hating. The weaker the Celtics are the better the Heat are. Ainge would be on the hot seat after failing to get JB, PG, and GH. They could make some moves out of desperation and that only helps the Heat. No?
Proud embarrassment
