Riley and Ownership didn't let Wade walk. But Riley could have been there when Arison went out to meet him, he took that part of their relationship for granted and are now making it up with Haslem. In the long run Wade walking was good for us, just look at Chicago.

What I'm most afraid of is missing Hayward and then - in desperation - giving a big deal to Rudy Gay or someone like that. We need to sign our guys and develop our young players.

Though I share the concerns on the Rudy Gay signing and sense of desperation, Miami needs a FRANCHISE player over all else.

Stop with the hedging and give this coaching staff, that have done a good job with reclamation projects, with talent.

Build for something versus achieving ATL 2.0 treadmill status.

If Rudy Gay is our FRANCHISE player, we are DOA.

Wasn't alluding to Rudy Gay as a Franchise Player.... Was talking about drafting one versus signing a bunch of players just so we can treadmill our way for nothing.
