Re-signing players that won't win you a championship or attract other star players and then not having money for a whale who would've come after a meeting?
Aggression in the sense of urgency applied. Also I think we sort of help to create the whales with our everything stops until you decide approach.

this is the best thing the heat can do if we strike out. i dont want chucker gay on this team coming off an achilees injury. he would only serve to hinder the progression of our young guns and it would be a less impactful signing than luoul deng was

Maybe you are right but I think you have to wait for the better players if you want to progress. It's easy to pick up lesser players. And the first day players are overpiad after that they become more reasonable.
After all it's only July 4th now - players can't even sign yet.
