If Gordon signs a three years contract with Miami on his next contract he will have more than 10 years as a player and his new contract (with full bird rights in Miami) will be very similar to a supermax (without federal incometax and more playoff games).

wait... He has the same option in Utah, but, well, better. Remember they have his bird rights. By then he may even get the 6 year super-duper max deal.

Nobody can beat Utah, tax or not.

Do you honestly think that after Gordon is 30 years old, Utah will pay Hayward a supermax?

Even if he doesn't, Utah is still giving 8% raises. You can make the argument that the East has more opportunity for him, maybe that Miami has more publicity deals, etc, but for the actual NBA contract, he could sign a better deal there.

In any case, I've totally moved on (if I was ever there.) We should sign Waiters and JJ before Hayward really makes his choice.

You either sign that phucking contract or not. Because of your selfishness my boy Dion is stuck waiting. Put that ink on that paper or GTFO

Either way is fine. Hayward would be fun to have, albeit terribly expensive. However, now it will be fun to beat the Celts if he decides to join them. It's a win for me.

The Heat board is funny enough with a few posters getting themselves in a tissy.

At this point the wait is killing every one to the point that the fans dont care anymore where he goes, sucked out all the excitement.

Read on Twitter

Take the offer off the table pat! I'm over haybetch. Let hayboi go play somewhere else where he could be as indecisive as he wants. We're grown down here baby. Bring back dion and jj and call it a day. We only want dogs down here and hayboy out here going back and forth like a little Pussycat. Forget this guy bro.

Funny comment from the Celts board concerning GH tweeting about his Olive Garden wait time:

"Hayward eats at Olive Garden? **** him, he can go to Miami."
