Looking like no Hayward for us but I am thinking that part of Rileys chat with Dion was
- we will sign you in the likely event that Hayward doesn't join (contract already probably agreed on)
- in the unlikely event it is agreed on, we want you back but would have way too many wings in Winslow, TJ, J-Rich, Ellington, Dion, Hayward. In that instance we would look for a sign and trade with Utah to give them back their pick of one wing asset between TJ/J-Rich + McBob and Ellington to freeup room for you.

Maybe after the Boston leak, Riley got in his ear about leaving his old team high and dry and he asked Boston if they would do a similar thing and make a sign and trade with assets for Utah and they really didn't want to
