He is a good player. He plays D, can hit the 3 and doesn't waste possessions like Markieff. I wish he was our starting 4 instead.

Apparently he's received two offer sheets and some sign and trade offers. Hopefully we are in on him

Too bad Ernie is over here hesitating on maxing Porter when we should be looking to move Oubre/Gortat/Mahinmi and picks for a star player.

Should be calling about boogie

Full MLE offer to kelly O should be made right ****ing now! Then we can dump mahinmi off somewhere, or gortat.

I was going to ask if we could possibly sign Olynyk. They need to jump on this. Ernie Grunfeld is too stupid though.

Hopefully calling him stupid triggers an unexpected plus move.

That combo isn't fetching us a star player. I'm not even sure it gets us a decent starter.

Yeah trading a good starter/a prospect and 1st round picks won't fetch a decent starter, good call.

Demarcus Cousins whenever the pelicans are out of the playoff picture and boogie is rumored to be leaving in the offseason anyways. its a better package then what Indiana just got for Paul George. Did you see what Chris Paul just went for in that sign and trade deal? I mean atleast try to improve the team Ernie. maybe that package doesn't get you a star player, but atleast try.

Considering we got gortat and morris both for just junk and first round picks.
Jimmy butler went for a pick swap and two young guards, one of which can only dunk the other had about a good of a season as sato .
and PG went for a young but super raw PF and a SG whos now been traded what 2 or 3 times in the last season and a half. with no picks attached.

and brook lopez went for basically filler in a salary dump deal that involved a pick and a young player.

That would have been a good pickup for the Wizards.

Ok, so the team that knocked us out of the playoffs added the top free agent available.

At least we have some hope, Mahinmi could be healthy this year and really be a difference maker. And Oubre might make big jump this year and become a major contributor.

The Wizards should make the playoffs, and in the playoffs they might "make some noise".

Bron, Bosh, Wade is like Mike, Hakeem, barkley...3 top 5 picks from same draft
mike, hakeem and Barkley on the same team!!!!

Mahinmi, smith, a 2018 second and aaron white for Aldridge seems like a really fair deal to me. Probably all they would get on the open market too. Lets get that done!

I wonder if in search of a healthy back up big the 76ers would do gortat and a 2019 first for ruchan holmes? Nice cap space for us and they gain a future first the are pretty log jammed up front and could use the money on the books short term and gortat is on a reasonable deal for the short term.

Doubt they want to tie up cap space.

I think our best chance is Gortat + Oubre + First for Cousins at the deadline. And it requires a lot of collusion in regards to recruiting with John.

Is it the 2018 2nd that puts us over the top or the rights to the Aaron 'Air' White. 8-)
