Whether Olynk is soft or not can you say he's not a terrible rebounder?

Also OKC signed Patterson for 3/16....what a bargain.

Why do you say he is soft? cause he is white?

he mixes it up a ton. bullies smaller/shorter guys. gets in guys faces. he is even a little dirty.

he isnt charles oakley but he is closer tough then he is soft. and he is a gritty guy

no I actually watch Boston games unlike what you claim. You don't even watch the Nets play idk how you can watch Boston. He is soft and a lot less athletic in comparison to Brook Lopez.

Lol ok... i dont watch nets games but im posting in the live game threads every night commenting on plays as they happen. i live in boston and watch tons of celtics games as well.

Olynk isnt soft. he is a gritty dude. you wont hear anyone call olynk soft. dirty? yeah you will hear some of that. but not soft. he mixes it up with guys all the time. doesnt back down. bullies small guys.

Ask NyeCevo... he is a boston guy too. he has seen a ton of him.

Maybe soft is not the best word. He is just a complete tweener. He is slow to defend PF and too small to defend Centers. He also has a short wingspan and can't contest shots. On top of that he lacks athleticism.

Well if they are matching, hopefully they do it early rather than wait till last hour of the 48 hours.

Porter deal is 4 years with the last year a player option. Also 15% trade kicker. Marks putting in all he can to make it tough for the wiz to match.

if they sign porter, and wanted to trade him later it would cost his new team 30 million

They'd probably wait til the max time they could to tie up our cap. But I think they'd be crazy to match. According to Bobby marks:

too small to defend centers? he is 7 feet! he lacks athleticism but he isnt slow. good lateral movement and high iq. solid defender. 2 way player.

If Wiz are intending to keep him, Nets suffer most by Wiz playing the waiting game until the deadline, right?

You'll see he'll get exposed when he is out of Boston. he is not strong enough to defend big men.

if im the wizards, I 100% match.

why wouldnt you match? they are over the cap with no way to add talent. if they dont match porter, they lose a talented player with no way to replace him. they are too good to get lotto picks.

i mean the owner paying the tax is the real wild card. who knows if he is willing.

i still feel like RHJ sign and trade could be in the works if the sheet is agreed to but not yet signed

Well, well, well. The serial RFA poaching of the Marksman has begun again!

OPJ - KCP - Noel - Plumlee - Len - Green - Roberson - THJ - Bogs?!

Being 7 feet doesn't automatically make you physically capable of defending centers. Olynk gets builled by physical bigs and he lacks the length to contest well with his poor wingspan.

Curious about yearly salary of Porter's contract...
Decrease yearly? Or decrease after the second year?
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

Wonder if Wall throwing him under the bus had anything to do with that.

OTOH, anyone knows what's the cap/tax situation/consideration like in DC?

Physicality is big part of the game not just defending back to basket players. It's also defending roll players or penetrators which he can't do. This is what I mean about soft.
