As a backup to Russ? What do you think his roll would be for this team? I like his aggressiveness and his D but I wonder about his shooting and handles.

His handles aren't bad. He's an awful shooter, though. Be a fantastic backup to Russ, and our defensive lineups would be mean.

Very true. Roberson, PG, and Smart would be murder on the defensive side of the ball.

He is a solid defender and plus rebounder for his size, but can he be effective as a full time point, even in a backup role? I wonder what it would take to get him. Or should the Thunder look at established, veteran point guards like Sergio or Beno?

Hell no to Beno, but Sergio is the dream

I am making a T-Shirt, Hell No To Beno! :D

Wish there was some way to get K.O. But in lieu of that I'd definitely be down for Marcus Smart.

So with Gay almost definitely not coming now...I mean our offseason could peter out a little bit in terms of move making.

But if we're not going to make a big splash on a starter, Presti HAS to turn his attention to a backup PG. Well, I guess backup PG+Starting power forward. If his answers to those positions are Semaj+Grant...

I'm really disappointed that our momentum seems to have stalled.

Then OKC is still a top 5 seed in the west (finished that for you)

It's been 4 days. It's another 4 months until the season.

Take a breath, they've got Paul bleepin George. I want more now too, but its probably going to take a little more time.

Now that I say this watch something happen lol.

Edit:

See!

So:

Russ/Robes/PG/Patterson/Adams?

Thats a really solid starting lineup, could be killer defensively too.

Good signing. He comes in and competes at the 4. He's 6'8" w/ a 7'1" wingspan. Good get at the full tax payer mid level. W/ a player option on the 3rd year.

Thunder must now look to to find a backup point w/ the $4.9 trade exception.

Michael Beasley
Patrick Patterson

Alright, 1/2 complete... let's get it Sammy P

So if we don't resign Robes because someone offers him the max, who so we go after?
