Yeah.... I really hope this is a teachable skill cos the future of the franchise depends on it.

I think it is. IIRC, Curry got a coach/sports therapist to work on his landings when his ankles were basically glass.

My worry is that it wasn't as pronounced in college. It seems like he's gotten a lot more quad-dominant, which isn't great for the knees long term. Anyway, hopefully the team's sports medicine guys know otherwise and/or are working on the issue. But it would make me happier seeing him doing weighted glute-ham raises than seeing him run down the court for a dunk.

maybe minimize practice sessions.

daily practice sessions and an 82 game schedule just can't be a good thing for such a big guy.

Embiid seems like the type that doesn't want to be treated differently than any other player on the team. However, his health is more important for the success of the team and should be treated like the Spurs did with Tim Duncan. Any chance to reduce the stress on his body without giving him too much special treatment should be utilized. Have him on reasonable time increments throughout his career. Having Lebron run over 40 mins a game, eventually will take it's toll. Hopefully, Embiid takes this team deep into the playoffs, the sooner the better.

At some point you can't just remove valuable practice/training time from such a young, raw basketball player. Embiid starting playing basketball late. Obviously the kid has immense talent, but he still has ALOT to learn. Only way your learning that (and mastering an NBA offense) is through practice reps and training.

Its not like Embiid is a 35 year old vet who's breaking down but has seen and done it all. This kids a baby (in terms of basketball experience) He needs all the reps he can get If he's going to become a great player.

Most of the greats in NBA history were gym rats, constantly practicing/training and mastering/improving there games. If you remove some of that time due to being scared of injury, your likely not getting the end result your looking for.

If Embiid can't practice and play actual games, he's not worth building around. Thats like trying to build a million dollar house on a half assed, cracked foundation.

I'm not a fan of:
- social media battles
- playing the same game of the Ball's family.

Yeah Embiid is starting to get on my nerves with this stupidity. He's out of line.

It's immature but who really cares. He's young and it's the offseason. For all of us old heads on the board, try to think about how much trouble we could of got into if we grew up in an age where everything was recorded. I think both sides are trying to WWE a rivalry out of nothing and I'm fine with it since I still hate the Lakers from Kobe days.

Bottom line, Joel can talk all the mess he wants as long as he's putting in all the work he needs to to keep growing his game and stay healthy.

I have no problem with it. I like guys with personality. There's enough PC crap everywhere these days. Talk as much **** as you want. Just make sure you back it up.

It's on his IG live. It's supposed to be his candid moments, not prepared PR statements.

Lavar Ball made it personal by attacking his tweets to games played (never mind that Lonzo and Lavar Ball have combined for all of 0 games in the NBA so far). I want Embiid to take this as a slight. Shows that he has drive.

Read on Twitter

So, in other gifs I thought he was just messing around but it looks like Embiid is legitimately adding the Dirk fadeaway to his arsenal. That sounds oh so nasty.
