Doesn't have Hammonds leaking anymore.

Yes, small markets tend to lose their stars when they can't put a good team around them. Crazy stuff, breaking news

What I got from that was the organization was an embarrassment, and that's why they'd probably lose him. Not simply: small market = hard to sustain success.

While the hiring process for the GM was a known mess among the NBA universe, what exactly have the Bucks done in the last couple months that was so terrible? The organization is on the upswing like it or not, and probably 1-2 moves away from being a 50+ game winner for the next 4+ years. Woj just comes off as a jerk there imo
Now if we sign Rose to multiple years, go ahead and put the whole organization on blast. At that point it would be clear that they have 0 idea whats going on. Not really seeing the whole "Giannis is watching and thinking about leaving already" angle he is going for, that arrow is still pointing firmly up

I could be totally off, too.
Agreed, he'll be under orders to come up with "juicy" stuff regularly to justify his salary. When that happens (and it already has) his scoops will become less credible and he'll do more of the "attack" pieces framed as "analysis". ESPN is bleeding cash big time (hence all the layoffs). When they bring someone new in they will expect him to make some waves. Yeah he did it at Yahoo but that's a smaller stage.

Really? You don't see the front office as being a complete mess, with Kidd taking responsibilities outside his job, the owners trying to run things, and being on different pages . . .
Maybe Horst sort things out, but all indications are he's just a figurehead.
