Let's see where we are now

Bucks record:42-40
Cap space: NO
Draft Picks: only our own, not projected to be very high
Future FAs: No cap space, Milwaukee not a particularly attractive destination
Coach: Kidd
GM: Some guy called Horst
Owners: fighting with eachother to the point they picked Horst

Personel: Giannis, Middleton in good contracts. Everybody else overpaid for what they are
Young Players 24 year old rookies Thon, Brogdon. Jabari with two ACL in three years

We can expect all the young guys to improve. Still the biggest question is Thon, can he become an all star level player?

Frankly I am not very optimistic, we need either to hit a jackpot in the draft (and still some time to develop), or Thon to have a Giannis like trajectory (unlikely). We also need the FO to make some really clever moves to create cap space, so far this seems the most unlikely of all.

He brought up the example of Giannis because he sees how dysfunctional the team is, it needs to be said, and he's right so you can care what he has to say in this instance. Every opinion can be judged individually. If it's right, it can be delivered by God, Al Bundy, or Ted Bundy.

Hate the idea of a hard cap in the NBA and I don't know why people think it'd solve the parody problem. It works in football because salaries aren't guaranteed, but in the NBA, it would absolutely kill a small market franchise that hands out even one bad 4-year contract (aka the Bucks would be screwed).

I hope the owners and everyone in the front office continue to be nationally shamed and roasted until they get their **** together.

I think it's so important for this team going forward to simply win. Keep improving and we'll keep Giannis.

Tanking is not an option anymore. We need to win, period. And at this point, it gets a whole lot more difficult without high draft picks.

Don't you think that those crap contracts go away with a hard cap? No way plumlee make that ridiculous contract with a hard cap.

KD doesn't agree with that..winning matters to some more than other. Giannis wants to win.

Durant is a one if a kind doesn't like the heat pussy. Don't bank on that for Giannis

Yep exactly. I already said the same thing. Super max Giannis will be 200 million dollars richer to stay in the city he loves and loves him back. There's really no chance he walks away from that under any circumstance.

Exactly. This isn't a Woj scoop. It's an opinion. The same one expressed here countless times as soon as the new contract was signed. Some argue that a "national guy" calling out LED will mean they will now "get it". It won't make a lick of difference. In the meantime I'm not going to get worked up about something that may or may not happen in 2021.

It is completely different because it brings awareness to the masses. If we post on here the message gets heard by tens of people and listened to by maybe a couple. It basically goes nowhere. When Lowe or Woj say anything it gets heard by tens of thousands and listened to by pretty much everyone. If you believe that you or me posting something on a message board has the same chance to bring about change as Lowe or Woj then I don't know what to tell you.

Me posting something on a message board is completely different than Woj saying something on a nationally broadcasted radio show. It just is.

The irony is that Utah is really well run, great mgmt team and had them on the upswing, even picked up Rubio, who Hayward loved....and he still sh** on them, which is his right. Milwaukee is run by idiots, hired a boy who, at this point, appears to be way in over his skis, the second Horst was hired, I thought Giannias had a foot and a half out the door.

Yep, no chance does he walk away from 200 million dollars in the 1st place and I believe the loyalty factor to be real with Giannis. You think us flirting with the luxury tax in 2017/18 and hiring Jon Horst as GM has any implications on what Giannis wants to do in 2021? I can tell you, it doesn't. As long as Giannis continues to trend upwards and the Bucks stay competitive, there's really nothing to worry about with him.
