That's not bad for Hardaway. I'd do it. He has the chance to be a really good offensive player.

Ya for 12-13 might as well. Another couple years with bud and he could be pretty good.

$10 million a year would be a steal. $15 million per or below would be his market price

Yikes... that much for a non-3 and D guy? I think that only pushes Hardaway's price up (not that he'll necessarily get it), Roberson doesn't offer enough on D to surpass Timothy's more balanced skill set.

I don't think he'll get more than $13 mil with how the market's played out.

Agreed. Based on how free agency's played out, I'm expecting TH to get in that $13mil/year range.

I'm kinda glad the market snapped back (a bit) salary-wise.

Around $50M / 4 years is certainly what ATL would negotiate, but since he's RFA, he may receive an offer from other team that will be over to get a chance of non-matching, and that's the problem. Where's the limit to match ? I would not go higher than 15M annually

Hardaway should probably bet on himself and take a shorter deal. If he continues to improve, especially shooting 3s, who could be looking at bigger money soon.

^Het took that gamble last summer when we attempted to negotiate an extension with him.

Taking that bet yet again -- two summers in a row-- would be incredibly risky.

Turning down a guaranteed $50 million contract this summer <whew> His dad might blow a gasket. His agent, too.

LOL

Likewise on the market snapping back.

The offers meted out this summer largely confirm that last summer was an aberration, and the Bazemore contract was terrible from jump.

The third biggest contract in franchise history dished out to a kid who's a rotation player at best. :nonono:

Good grief, Bud/Cox...I still maintain that was the contract which convinced Horford to leave.

I still believe that Horford never intended to stay. I think he knew he was going to leave before the season was even over. :x

Washington's probably gonna match Brooklyn's offer to Porter. I'm scared Brooklyn will eventually make a tough play at Timmy and Schlenk won't be willing to match.

I say we match. The least we could do is keep our young core.
