That IS huge money. I doubt he gets more than $12 mil a year. Probably $10 mil.

JJ's getting somewhere around 15-16.

There's no way JJ gets 15 mil a year.

Call me a bias fan but I love this roster... I am glad that the squad is back.. I love them..

Dragic/Johnson/?
Waiters/Richardson/Ellington
Winslow/McGruder /White
McRoberts/J. Johnson/Babbitt/Adebayo
Whiteside/Reed/Haslem

We have a greater sample size to determine fit and progression and our cap situation is more than manageable and trade friendly.

Well at least we avoided having to stretch out McBob's contract. That 2 million the next three years would have been taxed. No need to deal with that. I'm sure eventually someone will need his expiring deal.

Still not sure he doesn't get stretched.

Looks very doubtful at this point. Like i said. It's no point having three years of 2 million dead cap money getting taxed for an expiring deal.

Just asking.

I wouldn't mind Rudy Gay for the mid.

If agreements are anything like year's past and there aren't any no trade clauses, I believe mid-December.

We'll see. If after signing JJ the four million you save on McBob can help bring in another player they want I can't see it not happen. And I could care less about tax.

It'd be a mistake to. Just ride it out, maybe include him in a trade at the deadline to offset salaries or for a top 55 protected pick.

It's not worth it at this point. We will have basically nothing left after JJ and Ellington. The 4 million saved from McBob stretch we already have in the form of the room exception.

James Jones anyone? Not terrible for a 15th man. Would rather have him than phucking Luke "Turd King" Babbit.

By signing James, we'd be a lock for the finals. He's made 7 straight finals.

You can't combine exception with cap space. And if they have 4 million left plus an extra 4 million they save that's a good player right there. We shall see what JJ gets.

I think Babbit was really underrated last season. He opened up the floor to start the game and could give the team a good 10-15 minutes in a position of little depth on the team. Those few minutes starting enabled the Heat to have a spark off the bench with JJ and he could close out games fresh.

Oh and McBob shot 42% from 3 last season...he's our starting PF. Book it.
