My dad was in Europe ( a bucket list item) when the game was cancelled. I told him about the possible conspiracy when he came back. His friend got tickets to today's game and it is his first time going to Wrigley, another bucket list item.

So now we know why they cancelled the original game ... it was so my dad could see his Brewers at Wrigley.
