Re: ATL - Gallo to Clips in S&T, Crawford/1st to Atlanta
I wonder what the asking price for Bradley/Crowder is. I'm assuming Boston wants only draft picks back to create the cap space. Because of his contract, I'd like to see them make a run at Crowder but don't see it happening at all. Would certainly give up a future first for him, potentially a second with some protection on it.

It would probably cost the bucks 2 picks. One to Boston for crowder and another to the third team you would need to get involved that would absorb the salary the bucks would need to send out to make it work.
I like crowder but wouldn't give up that much to get him.

On RealGM trade checker Trade ID #6903537 Crowder for Vaughn works.
Crowder salary is $6,796,117
Vaughn salary is $1,889,040
The difference -cap space created for Boston is $4,907,077
Is this enough for Boston to sign Hayward ?
Our offer would be Crowder for Vaughn + '18 Bucks 1st (top 10 protected) + a future 2nd.
From spotrac I saw that we were 920K under tax so this 4.9 probably takes us over the tax by approximately 4M
Is it still 1 $ for 2 over the tax ?
So the big question is .. does extra 4M worth it to take Crowder on a 3y great deal ? My answer is yes
All hypothetical cause other teams have better assets...

Roberson was being talked about as getting a max deal. That was making me sick but now as it turns out it could be a steal. Okc having a wonderful off season so far.

If he even develops a 32% 3... he'll be insane.
He needs to learn how to shoot entirely. Teams "hack-a-shaq'd" him last season to watch him brick free throws. He's awesome defensively, it's just really hard to overcome the 4 on 5 offensively.

I really wonder about the Tedosic signing and what effect it has on Rose. If we really want Rose which the report that we really found the meeting positive seems we do then having no other legit suiters is probably the best thing for us. Although bidding against ourselves does seem to be our forte..

3/30 is a great deal for Roberson. Given that he brings absolutely nothing to the table offensively its probably the right deal for him. If he develops an improved shot at all then it turns into and absolute steal for OKC.

Great value for Teodosic. Former teammate of Pat Bev at Olyampiacos.

Re: Boston Trades
They need to trade one of Smart/AB/Crowder to make cap space for Hayward. So they aren't taking back salary; they are just trying to get the best draft pick value possible. We cannot take more salary than we give out by 25% so we CANNOT trade for Crowder or AB. However, we COULD (theoretically of course) use the Hibbert TPE (and a 1st to) trade for Smart (who will be a RFA next offseason). That's almost a reasonable thing to do outside of the fact that we would then need to pay him/Bari this offseason and have no money for either much less both.

Realgm trade checker allowed the trade between
Vaughn and Crowder
Can you confirm ? Is it legal ?
Of course we will attach 1st(s) to get it done.
The salary difference is 4.9M , right about Smart's salary.

I'd only trade for Crowder if we dealt Middleton + Jabari for a consolidation trade and got a star guard (Lillard, McCollum?). So now that I think about it....

So, Bucks would be in the mix for Crawford if he is bought out?
Wouldn't mind it. Instant offense off the bench and a great locker room guy. Not sure how it would work salary wise. MLE?

Would prefer that to Rose, assuming it is a 1 year deal.

I'd rather keep Jason Terry if we want a good locker room guy. Crawford is not good.

Only 10 Mil for Dirk. It would appear that Cuban is losing some of his 'blank check' love affair with Dirk and slowly realizing that the time has come to move on, dot org if you will.
Go Bucks!
