Mitchell + Dennis Smith would have been a great pickup.

Mitchell wouldn't have been drafted at either 5 or 10 regardless of the team that picked there. And don't worry, you didn't make a mistake. Fultz is special. It's not surprising that every single scout think he has superstar potential. Should also be noted that Fultz is almost a year younger than just about every other top pick in this draft, and yet he still looks better than just about every of them.

The only thing I'm taking out if the summer league games is that Fultz's shot will translate right away.

That's nothing. Okafor has been 19 for the past 2 years.

his release is quicker now after making minor adjustments on his mechanics over the past two months...which i believe takes balls to do. his original jumper gauranteed him to be a solid to elite shooter in the nba but the kid wants to be great and altered it so he could he could maximize his potential as a scorer. not many prospects would alter a shot that works for them, its a huge risk but he took the chance anyway.

Okafor also rolls out of bed to 20 and 10.

I like his shot. The kid sure can shoot. I also like that he isn't taking too many contested shots. He's creating separation to get a good look. Hopefully he can continue to do that agianst real players. The only knock offensively is he doesn't penetrate well enough to my liking.

The floor being spread with real NBA players will help with that.

You're crazy. Lol

No, but for real...Isaac and Mitchell would have been some nasty poo to walk away from the draft with, but I am also very happy for Fultz to be the guy.

Fultz and Isaac would of been a great haul. Anyway, there are several picks that are gonna have good careers. It's good for the NBA to have so many promising prospects. Teams need at least 3 stars or more to be competitive.

If we traded the 3 for 5 and 10 prior to the draft... the 76ers new training facility would have been burnt down to the ground by fans.

Maybe the NBA should just bring in a new rule... if you have the #1 pick you can wait until after Summer League... and then trade it for the 2 best players out of the draft. Which is basically what you are saying should happen.

Well Isaac's asthma problem could be a long term issue.

And the #3 for #5 and #10 deal was just speculation right? I don't think the Kings had interest in doing so since they got their man in Fox at 5 anyway.

I'm really happy with Fultz, top of 2018 has some upside but neither Bamba, Ayton, Porter jr., Carter, Bridges, Knox or Williams are good fits for us, it is really big orientated at the top.

Thus far, Fultz has been what I've expected. Looking forward to a couple years from now, likely he will grow a bit, like Giannis, Durant, Jojo too. Wouldn't surprise me if he gains another gear as a result, like Giannis did. He'd be Even more deadly
