They retained the team except Patterson and Tucker. We're deeper than them but they clearly have the better starting lineup.

They're a 2 trick pony. DeRozan does always kill us though.

We're much deeper, more physical and better coached. It'll be tight.

Backup point needed? Might as well bring Beano back.

What I like about what the Heat has done, is now they have the ability to give Whiteside some rest and help on the boards. To help Whiteside have more spring in his step when he is on the court

The Suns own two of our next 3 1st round picks. I don't remember if they're protected or not, but the most incredibly frustrating thing would be to turn into a Brooklyn Nets situation where you suck and on top of being awful, have no 1st round pick to show for it. I have no issue with these moves because I think we'll be fighting for a top 4 or 5 seed. But if not, its gonna be rough for sure.

Not me. Hated everything Riley has done (except Whiteside) since Lebron left.

He has been striking out more than Stanton

There is a silver lining in that PHX, all things being equal, will receive a non lottery 1st rd.... Wait and see for now and hope non of these players turn back into a pumpkin now that they got paid....

Exactly. The roster has so much depth, flexibility, and a great mix of youth and veterans. We are ready to compete and see where it takes us. With the East so weak anything can happen. Cavs are going to be in for a world of hurt if they think it's going to be a cake walk against us.

It should be a rule of thumb never to trade unprotected future picks. It's so dangerous.

If 2018 doesn't go to Suns, unprotected 2019 would. And then unprotected 2021 is brutal. We can't even think of tearing it down and rebuilding because that is over our heads.

We got all of this players instead of one.

Dion, Ellington, JJ, Olynik > Gordon Hayward.

We should trade TJ now to get either fringe starting SF or 1st round pick, and then sign a real PG with the room exception. There are guys I would also throw the room exception to like Jeff Green and Shabazz Muhammad.

I think we're a contender for #5 seed. Don't really see us passing Cavs, Celtics, Wizards and Raptors.

Yeah seems like 5 would be our spot so long as Dragic stays healthy.

Everyone should lower their expectations. Remember most of these guys were on the team at the start of last season and sucked. Lets pray that second half play wasn't a fluke. Seems like Riley and Co. are betting on it being legit.

Yup, that's why I've been puzzled with the rebuild crowd. Have no second round picks and just two 1st round picks, with a gap between each pick, in the next 4 years? How do you rebuild with that? Not to mention cap situation going forward isn't good, we literally have to spend the cap this year acquiring pieces that we can hopefully either win with or make into gems we can use in a package to get a real star.
