Not me. Hated everything Riley has done (except Whiteside) since Lebron left.

He has been striking out more than Stanton

Chris Bosh. Bloodclots. Two straight seasons...

$22.2 mil of wasted cap space in 2015-16
$23.7 mil of wasted cap space in 2016-17

…Not Riley's fault. He played the hand he was dealt. Was one game away from the Conference Finals two seasons ago. Historic second half run last season after dealing with the most first half injuries in the league.

But you keep right on hating. Have fun with that.

I would say that was right on Mars. +1000,000,000

I honestly thought we'd just sign JJ and call it a day. Olynyk isn't a bonus and he can take pressure off HW. I like it.

They Olynyk guy is a 20 min, 9pts 4 rbd backup C. How did we give this guy 50 million after drafting our backup C with our lottery pick ??

And why the foak are we wasting a roster spot on AJ Hammond, another back up C ???

Are we bringing back UD as a back up C also ???

Why don't we value whart Reed did for this team, he saved us a few games and was already doing a pretty darn good job backing up Hassan. I am sure he would have taken much less than Olynyk, with this move, there is no way with back Reed or do we ???

Can some insider please explain this shiat to us ?????

Called it! Would have been nice if it was for a 3-year $45m, but given what he did last season, he's just too important to pass up. I do think he will play at a pretty high level until he turns 34.

On the Eye Test, I agree with you, but he is 25 years old and puts up decent numbers. He just looks like an oaf sometimes doing it.

He had a 113/107 ORTG/DRTG last season, a PER of 15.3, 4 WS, and is 36.8% from behind the 3 during his career (last year he stunk.) He was one of Boston's better players in the playoffs too.

I'm not a fan, but I'm willing to give him a chance to sway me. My impression is that we've moved from Willie Reed (one of my favorites last season) to Kelly Olynyk. I don't like this move much, but Reed was already gone, so...

JJ at 4/60:

$13,953,488
$14,651,162
$15,348,836
$16,046,514

I liked Dion's contract a lot, but I think we overpaid for JJ and Olynyk. I hope they prove me wrong.

We only have just under $12 million in cap now, how would he get $60 million over 4 years?

They possibly could have found a taker for the Hammond contract.

These moves are so unlike Pat Riley that I'm assuming he's on his way out. He's leaving Spoelstra and whomever is taking over a solid foundation, a little mediocre for my taste, but a base for the next few seasons to take over the reigns. Contending for homecourt 4-6 seed isn't that bad, I guess. Could be worse.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Olynyk, 26, spent his first four seasons with the Boston Celtics. He averaged 9.0 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in 2016-17, shooting 51.2 percent from the floor. The Celtics renounced Olynyk's rights after they came to terms with Gordon Hayward.

A first-round pick in 2013, Olynyk has developed into a fine offensive big. He's good enough from three-point range that defenses have to respect him on pick-and-pops, and he has a propensity for random flashes of brilliance. His 26-point outburst in Game 7 against the Washington Wizards almost single-handedly propelled the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals.

"Just control what you can control," Olynyk told reporters. "Whatever happens, happens. However the cookie crumbles, it does. But you just control what you can control. You can't worry about things that aren't in your control."

"Just getting better. Getting better as a player every single day, physically, mentally, studying the game, whatever it is. But just trying to get better every single day."

Olynyk will fit in either next to Hassan Whiteside in the Heat's starting lineup or as their first big off the bench Either way, he might get some additional shot opportunities that weren't available in Boston. The Celtics' logjam of talent and need to get everyone minutes limited Olynyk's time to around 20 minutes a night in each of his first four seasons.

If he can get increase that to 25-28 minutes, this could look like a good contract if his splits continue over the increase in minutes

From looking at depth chart now. Miami is not a team most will want to play, especially if 7-11 is popin like at the end of last season. Our defense... Tough minded and great length...
now please stop playing with my emotions..
first there is too much of nothing and then FML.... I got whip lash... still 7-11 & Brothers Johnson.... so I am good...

but the icing
Spoiler:
-- is McSob.....
