Trying to make sense of it, I hated this dude. Loathed him like we all did following that clusterf*ck of a season and his role in us dropping in the lottery.

At the same time, he had a pretty damn good year last season considering a lot of metrics had him as one of the worst two guards in the NBA while he was with us. Contract looks ridiculous, but if what he produced last year is his floor and there's still room to grow, it can work out alright...

I mean if THJ played like he did in the 2nd half, it's not a terrible deal, but it's a huge risk given he has only played like that for 30 some odd games. Clearly we are going for a long ass team with Frank, THJ, KP, Willy, but man this is surprising.

I guess we are taking the massive risk that the way he played in March and April is how he will be going forward. That THJ is worth the contract. Everything prior to that and this is a massive overpay. Huge risk.
