Re: Knicks sign Hardaway
Steve Mills read Knicks REALGM boards... I blame all of you for not wanting Rondo, Waiters, etc. Since we barely talked about THJR.... he thought you guys would like it. Yep, that's going to be my story... blame it on realgm

I'd rather have stuck with Lee and Dotson.

LMAO, so much Knicks.
Honestly though, this is actually the way to do it. The Knicks can't develop players for isht. Trade him to an org with a coach that will get the most out of him - which Mike Budenholzer clearly has done since Hardaway is WAY better than he ever showed in NYC - and then sign him back when he's established himself and is a FA.
If I believed in Hardaway going forward or didn't have an irrational hatred of him, I'd be stoked about the sequencing here.

The worse part about having THJR on the roster is that you know he's going to **** up the tank at the last minute again and fck us over from that #1 spot.

Lmao if you think that, considering his horrific defense, and the fact he was playing on a much better offense in ATL that maximized his strengths, is worth that salary (19mm in the last year with the 15% trade kicker).

Yep
Every penny of it
On the bright side, we've moved from giving bloated contracts to old, injured players to giving bloated contracts to young players

Re: Knicks sign Hardaway
At least we know with THJr he's the kind of player Jeff wants when it comes to fast breaks. This man goes on 1-on-5 fastbreaks and always seems to score.
This is how you treat the man that gave up Kristaps?

I said from the rip, I rather have Phil finish out the off-season before hiring someone new than this. Mills does NOT know ball. I'm a friend of his on LinkedIn. His resume is trash. Not hoops at all.
Steve Mills vs Phil, I'm taking Phil. Was a glimmer of hope when guys like Masai and Presti were mentioned...but we are probably doomed no matter what
