Re: Knicks sign Hardaway
we need a primary ball handler that can defend next to Frank. Would've preferred just giving the 3/57 for G. Hill that Sac gave him.

THJ is not the kind of guy you add to a rebuilding project

People fail to recognize this. We're essentially replacing Clee with Hardaway
I'd MUCH rather have lee's shorter contract at less money.
Lee's contract is 1 year shorter and he's already over 30. He also makes 5 million less a year. Don't exaggerate it
??? 5 mil less is significant! This is an overpay period.

I am very happy about this. THjr should have never been traded. He was a steal when we drafted him. Dude went hard at the gym last summer and looked like a million bucks all season this past year.
About time we actually kept one of our original rookies for a change.

Re: Knicks sign Hardaway
Its not absolutely terrible.. only for a couple of reasons
1) hes 25 years old and hes shown improvement. while hes prob worth 4/55 mil as a UFA, you got to juice it to get a RFA.
2) fits as a scoring option next to KP assuming Melo is gone
3) Assuming they have deal lined up to ship C Lee out for assets..
I dont hate the player.. I hate the number.. but atleast the contract is for ages 25-29... as long as he can continue to score and improve it will never be an albatross rather just an overpay..

We arent losing that much with Nets Bulls Pacers Hawks and bottom fodder in West around
Thought you would like Bridges, colour me surprised
hes good but hes not tank worthy at all
we gotta aim for porter, doncic, bamba, ayton
one of those at least
Yeah, not gonna happen, do you think we are worse than Bulls, Hawks, Pacers, Nets?

Lee too?
He wouldn't have. But only because THJ doesn't fit the triangle.

Re: Knicks sign Hardaway
Who is he to get a Player Option?? Like what this guy done for 18 million a year? As soon as KP can leave I hope he does. There's something seriously wrong with this franchise.

He is definitely better than Lee and is 7 years younger I believe. Gotta believe we have deals lined up for Melo and/or Lee, or this doesn't make a ton of sense.

He's a good scorer but not liking it.
In no way is he a good fit with Frank.
