People are overrating Crowder due to his contract.

Don't want Knight and his contract. It is negative value

Yeah, no to Knight. Phoenix will just have to live with that contract.

In a few years, we will be paying max contracts to Towns, Wiggins, & Butler. Teague will be making $19m per year. Crowder and his reasonable contract are very desirable for a team that will be up against the luxury tax soon.

Maybe you're undervaluing Crowder because you're not looking at the whole picture of how he fits on the Wolves long term.

No to Knight but I'd take Dudley from them if they want Aldrich.

After Hardaway Jr signing NYK might be willing to trade C.Lee. I would be all over if we can trade Aldrich + pick for Lee.

Haven't they been willing to trade him for a while now? Thibs doesn't like his contract I believe

I would not give a near-expiring Aldrich plus cap space for Courtney Lee, and especially not a first rounder.

Last year, Thibs was only willing to offer Lee two guaranteed years, because of his age. The Knicks gave him a four year deal, and for more per year than Thibs was offering. I doubt that Thibs wants the last three years of that four year deal now.

Lee's already played nearly 19,000 minutes, and will be 32 years old when he starts Year 2 of his 4 year deal.

Will he be worth $11,747,890 next year? Maybe.
Will he be worth an additional $25 mil in 2018-2020? Doubtful.

How overpaid is Cole Aldrich over the rest of his deal? $7.3 this year, $2 next, but can provide some production. $2 over? $3?

Almost everyone got overpaid in last year's free agency, and a team needs to add a first rounder to get rid of many of them. Courtney Lee is not the one contract that was so good, that it is not only worth it, but that you'd need a first rounder to bring it in.

Make sense. What if they offer 1st round pick + Lee for Aldrich?

After BOS uses Marcus Morris to clear the salary to sign Gordon Hayward, Hartford Whaler's suggests that maybe they send Morris here for Aldrich and the OKC 2nd?

Detroit just renounced him

It was a question... is he worth making an effort to go after? Or no.
