Clips are meeting with Willie Reed today. Can you guys give me a primer on his game? If he did sign with Clips, it would be for 2.5M a year.

If you get him for just 2.5 a year that's a steal. He's a workman like center who'll give you quality minutes at that spot. Very hard worker. I'm going to miss him.

FWIW in 2015 around Christmas, Kelly Olynyk and Frank Kaminsky grabbed 16 rebounds combined in a single game.

UD left a bunch of money on the table ~ $13 million to stay with the Heat when the Big 3 formed. Pat hadn't budgeted for him. So if he wants more, I get it.

Here is the problem for Miami for the next 4 seasons....



[*]This was an very unusual move by Pat Riley, which makes me feel he has one foot outside the door.

[*]Pat Riley builds teams to win now, this team can't get past the 2nd round.

[*]After seeing GSW destroy the Cavs, I felt Pat was going to hang it up sooner than later.

[*]The last two offseasons have been hard on Pat with No Durant, Lost Wade, & No Hayward. I am not saying it wasn't financially beneficial for our team not to sign Wade but it had to hurt an already open wound left open from Lebron.

[*]What really is odd is overpaying players that would normally be bench players on most playoff teams, instead of signing Wade for 2 seasons. Now we have these bench players for 4 seasons.

[*]The game is changing and Pat Riley is just making sure we have a competitive team for the next few years with tradable contracts but not a team that is able to win even the Eastern Conference. I doubt he sticks around much longer to see what happens

don't be confused Cavs ( old Pat model that LeQueen brought to 'TheLand')
while the GSW ( building talent from within, sprinkle with Old Pat model of bring ring chasers & getting lucky on timing with KD)

his response well he changed the dynamic of the roster... with versaltity and depth to hand it over to Spo..

He did a great job as a backup behind Whiteside. He's very active on both sides of the court. A good rebounder. His defense is pretty good. He still needs to work on his offensive game, but he's a young quality player. You will love his hustle. We all wish we can resign him. He's asking for a lot more than that. Otherwise he'd still be a Miami Heat player.

What the hell would Lebron want with UD, let alone paying him more than the minimum? That's bull! He wouldn't want Wade either.

We can complain about some acquired players but yeah I don't get the notion about complaining about the whole team itself. I am happy with this team. We have retained all the players we wanted to retain (aside from reed for now) 29 out of 30 teams will still be utterly useless against GS. So might as well enjoy the ride in the post-season.

I see a lot of talk about whether Haslem should return to take up a roster spot or if we can bring back last year's rental Willie Reed.

I'm happy with the course thus far.
