So, in other gifs I thought he was just messing around but it looks like Embiid is legitimately adding the Dirk fadeaway to his arsenal. That sounds oh so nasty.

he's probably our closer...god damn.

He had a couple of opportunities to win games last year where he took the last shot as the closer... and he definitely needs to work on it. I seem to remember he got double teamed and turned the ball over as a result or had to throw up last second wild shot. Needs to learn how to pass out of double teams in that situation.

Would be interesting to see who gets the ball in that circumstance. I'd be looking at Fultz or Simmons.

Fultz can create his own shot which is important.
Simmons is not as good a shooter but then again are teams really going to have the guts to sit off him and let him take a wide open 3 or 2 to win the game? He has the ability to get to the basket to get his shot off or the passing skills to find someone that's open if he gets double teamed.

Looking forward to seeing what Brett Brown goes with.

Embiid got destroyed yikes...but let's keep it social media though. Embiid will destroy the Lakers if we're talking about on the court stuff.

While Lavar Ball may be the most annoying parent ever, I'm actually glad he couldn't keep his mouth shut. Can you even imagine what Embiid is going to do to LA the first time they meet? It's going to be ugly and it's going to be awesome. I just hope he sends one of Lonzo's shots into the stands and hits his father with it.

I love how people to knock Embiid always go after his health issues like that's his fault. I guess that's their only option since they can't go after his game and they know it.

Did he seriously attack someone's intellect with that statement? :noway:

Love this potential rivalry we might have with LAL. It might not ever materialize though because we have 3 potential MVP candidates and they only have 1.

No he did not lol.. That's embarrassing.

Especially since that's what got Embiid to say "**** you" to begin with.

Looking at the video of Embiid shooting, I do not like the fact that he still lands on one foot.

And he said about Embiid "I have three words for you--can't play at all!"

I didn't need another reason to dislike that fool. I know (think at least?) it's somewhat of an act, but it's one really annoying freaking act.

Lands on one foot and jumps off one foot. Hope there's little risk to this because it looks a bit dangerous for him.

The only time I saw him land on 1 foot in the video is when he took fadeaway jumpers... which you kinda have to land on 1 foot otherwise you would topple over

I'm more worried about how he lands after he dunks.. that is where he hurts himself. You can see he has watched WAY too many Olajuwon videos... because Olajuwon used to dunk exactly the same way.

We need him to hang onto the rim a little more ala Shaq and cushion his landings. At the moment everytime he dunks he is a candidate for an ACL injury with the way his leg straightens out.

Embiid needs to disengage from Ball. He's like the heckler that used to sit behind the wizards (bullets) visitor's bench and say bizarre things all game. You cant win an argument with someone so detached from reality. Its a shame for those kids that he can't control himself.

His health is the only thing between him and multiple All-NBA selections.

The foot scares me. And the variety of injuries from his erratic body movements.

I hesitate to take Lavar seriously, but making fun of a guy like Embiid that speaks several different languages for having a limited vocabulary is, uh, something else.

Embiid fined for saying F Lavar Ball. So dumb. It's laughable that in 2017 people actually still find that word "offensive" when all it means is sex, and it originated in the middle ages.

But keep being sheep!

That's a slippery slope you just set the league on Adam Silver.
