Based on his first summer league game? He hasnt even been through a training camp or had a real workout with the team yet. Not saying he will automatically get the start over Warren but that spot is up for grabs

If he learns how to shoot, I don't think being s superstar is out of the question. Dude is active. Made Fox uncomfortable. For a guy with "limited" handles, he was getting to the rack too.

I like him in true catch and shoot situations where he's squared up when he catches the ball. When he has to pivot or put the ball on the floor or re-adjust his position in any way, that's a much different matter. He doesn't seem to realize he's great in the right shooting situation and (so far) absolutely horrible the other way.

18 pts 8 rebs 2 ast 1 blk for his first game is decent. He showed good slashing ability, jumpshot was bad.

But........ hes only going to get better, between JJ and reed there is alot to like.

Its all about consistency with him, the good thing about JJ is he is fire all game, you know he is going to give it his all. TJ was inconsistent over year but also during games

I don't think it's an argument that Jackson has better foot speed than Warren, even if I believe Warren's athleticism is often overlooked. I just believe Warren is the better player at the moment, and if you are trying to win games, you go with the guy who is going to give you the best chance to win.

I wasn't thrilled with our 2nd year guys but in fairness to both of them, Reed and even Jackson are older than either Chriss or Bender. And they were clearly the 2 biggest projects in the lottery last year so it's going to take some time. I'm disappointed but that's only in relation to where I was hoping they'd be, it's pretty clear we're going to need a lot of patience with these two.

Fun game for a summer league tilt. These are always sloppy and guys are are trying to do too much.

Reed was excellent, qwigglez had a Middleton comp earlier in this thread and I can see that.

Jones and James were fine no complaints there.

I liked what I saw from Jackson. Love the aggressiveness taking to the hoop and he was active all over the floor.

Bender is a mixed bag. His stroke looks nice and I like that he wasn't hesitating to take an open shot. When he has the ball its an adventure, you see some glimpses of what people like but other times he looks very very raw.

Chriss- damn has he put on some muscle. He battled with papa well. He needs to settle the **** down. Hes out of control both litterally on the court and emotionally. But there are times where the dude shows his insane physical tallent. Bad shooting night but of the negatives that's not a huge worry for me.

I've seen enough of Warren to say he is not a starter in the league, the Suns just dont have a better option...YET

Definitely fair and true, i guess i just feel like experience outweighs age, i know Bender didnt get to play much his rookie season so i give him a pass. And hopefully Chriss bounces back and adjusts to his new body before the season starts. Just disappointing as you said.

By the way I just want to point out I said Fox was going to be a Star and he has the tools. The stroke is way better than everyone made it out to be, that Hield/Fox combo is gold.

I like Fox but not a fan of Hield's game at all.

I gave you an and 1 for this part, I should point out I don't agree with your Warren comment though. When he was healthy at the start and close of the season he was our best and most consistent player. Since he does most of his damage off the ball he's always somewhat dependent on what other's are doing but you go through his stats the end of the season and he was very impressive. He scored in double digits in all but 1 of his final 23 games and he did it with high efficiency. Also, he went for 20+ in 8 of those games.
