Fox is my pick for ROY out of the Top 5
1) Fultz and Simmons I believe will both do well but will cancel each other out statistically to outright win the award
2) Lonzo I think will underwhelm this season which pains me to no end
3) Tatum will do well but won't be given the opportunity to put up statistics worthy of the award
4) Jackson's game right now I don't think will translate as well statistically to win ROY
5) Fox has the perfect opportunity to shine and bring fun basketball to the Kings

You sure about that? The Kings signed Hill so if they take it slow with Fox off the bench I can't see him in contention for that award.

Josh Jackson looks like the 2nd coming of Kawhi Leonard.

I think Lonzo's shot will fall. The guy proved he can hit from NBA range. If he keeps getting left open like that, they will start falling. The question is, when that happens, what happens when the defense starts creeping up and forces him to make a play with the ball.

His teammates better be ready to get the pass and knock down 3s.

My man Fox is the best. His speed with the ball is just GOAT.

He is saying that he has special talent that gives him superstar potential. Prez is totally right. The kid is pretty gifted with great mentality and work ethic. The potential is there. Whether he becomes a superstar one day or not is a different matter.

Like Josh Jackson a lot too, but man, dude has to develop a jumper and a handle. That said, he'll fit nicely next to Booker on the wing.

It's toooo early. I love the entire top 5 and think everyone made the right choice for themselves, but of course we'll see. Love what Fox is showing though

I didn't know he was THAT fast

Ideally you get them both together and end up with someone like Chris Paul.

Chris Paul is athletic?

He's John Wall in the open court.

And I'll stand by my evaluation that Fox has an insane upside.

I thoroughly enjoy watching Fox, not because of his great athleticism, but just the way he carries himself on the court. Underdog mentality and plays with a lot of confidence. His energy is infectious.

Elite level physical tools (speed, quickness, body control, shiftiness), oustanding handles/feel, insanely crafty, good passer, finisher, intense competitor with leadership, IQ, motor. He has basically every box checked when it comes to a PG prospect except a good jumpshot, and I'm confident that'll come in time.

he can't really shoot though so it isn't a real surprise.

I'd say defensively he's better than advertised (and defensively he was rated very very good).

What does that have to do with the post you quoted lmao
