Rescind offer to thjr, and go get KCP. That's an actual long term piece as long as he doesn't get lazy and complacent

We should throw out a contract to Jameel Warney. My man was a beast for Stony Brook and led the Summer league in PER. I've hooped with him on many occasions. Trust me, this dude need to be in the league.

Imagine if Phil wasn't a moron and didnt sign both Lee and Noah to those awful contracts. Knicks would have a max space right now and then enough to add another max contract next season when Carmelo opts out.

Phil was trying to build a team around Melo. Yes, I agree we should've gone for the rebuild right after Phil got here.

I disagree here. Phil was trying to build a team that satisfied his stupid triangle. He had limited understanding of the new NBA and the importance of spacing which ironically would play to Carmelo's strengths.

If we all going all hands on tank process, I'm fine with the signing Thjr and trading Lee and Melo, Noah is here to stay no matter what.

But if we do trade lee and Melo for pennies or even for picks that are not even in the next 2 drafts **** this team.

I personally want to keep everyone, of course trade lance and noah if possible, and see what this team can do without Phil BS, considering we sign a servicable pg with mle, but I can definitely see why people want to go full tank.
If you're just tuning in, tune out -JVG

Nothing plays to Carmelo's strengths. If you're going to space the floor you better be able to move without the ball and pass. Plus he plays no defense, so no matter what system Phil brought in Carmelo would have done his own thing. Actually, the one team that does play to Carmelo's strengths is Houston. There he can chuck away until his heart's content. And the best thing about it is he doesn't even have to get back on defense. But he better shoot quick in Houston, otherwise, he will get run out of town there too.

But Carmelo said that's he's not a spot of shooter in D'Antoni's system and actually forced D'Antoni to quit over this very issue.

LOL, if I'm D'Antoni, I'm telling Morey that I'd quit if he brought Melo to Houston. But I understand that Mike said he's okay with with it. So go figure.

Luckily that 6 team deal with Melo and Love and Cleveland, Knicks, Houston, Phoenix and 2 others will sort out all the Knicks issues. Details still being worked out. Follow on twitter.

I definitely agree on Woods and on the G league team. I couldn't believe we had so many old timers on that team last year.

the knicks still need a point guard unless they are just ready to let Frany play 48 minutes.

He's got a coach's salary on a winning team with James F'ing Harden and CP3. He's the coach of the year, Melo is an aging star who is lucky to go to a good team, and D'Antoni has all the power. Melo is grateful for the chance, and he'll do his best to make D'Antoni (and himself) a winner. D'Antoni is too smart to blow this because of false pride -- it's what he is getting paid to do.

1. Worse than Randle's
2. Maybe 25 yrs ago, but at best I'd still be in street clothes....on that SL team we trotted out there last week. :D
